    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a confirming device for directly confirming the advance of an expansion blade in a cylinder type expansion head and performing reliable confirmation even with a leakage of a pressure fluid.
      SOLUTION: In a working tool operation confirming device in a hydraulic working tool driving device for an excavating work rod, a working tool for performing predetermined work is mounted to the outside of a lower end of the excavating work rod so as to be freely reciprocated into an advance working position from a retreat position. A hydraulic driving means for driving the working tool is mounted inside the lower end of the excavating work rod. The hydraulic driving means is provided with an interlocking mechanism having a driver driven in a reciprocating manner from a starting point to an end point by the pressure fluid supplied from the outside through a supply passage, and putting the working tool in reciprocating operation from the retreat position to the advance working position by the reciprocating motion of the driver from the starting point to the end point. The hydraulic driving means is further provided with a discharge port for discharging the pressure fluid to the outside of a system when the driver reaches the end point to operate the working tool into the advance working position, and a manometer for detecting a pressure drop in the pressure fluid supply passage.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enlarged head for an enlarging excavation method for reclaiming a middle-size widened diameter drift and an enlarged head using therefor having no special driving source like hydraulic pressure, and capable of stepwise widening an enlarging blade from a small diameter blade by a simple inexpensive apparatus.
      SOLUTION: A wide blade provided in the upper outer peripheral part of a widening head rod having an excavation blade at the lower end is contracted by the peripheral earth pressure during the normal rotary excavation and the wide blade of the reversal widening head is supported slidably and swingably in the up and down direction by the peripheral earth pressure during the reversal rotation. In the reclaiming method of a bulb-shaped or/and middle-size widened diameter drift, the drift is constructed to the underground lower end while dividedly widening stepwise the enlarging blade in turn from a small diameter to the largest diameter by using the reversal enlarging head putting a divided enlarging blades on guide plates cut by desired steps stepwise the enlarging blade or the normal and reverse rotary force of a screw rod, the vertical movement of the enlarging head and the earth pressure.

In the multishaft excavating machine having this constitution, a shaft number changing structure is equipped with intermediate output shafts in the output shafts in a series supported removably in the gear box, idle gears engaged separably with the remaining interlocking gears and provided for rotating the adjacent ones of these gears in the directions opposite to each other, idle shafts thereof and means for supporting the idle gear shafts removably in the gear box, as members for replacement of the intermediate output shafts and the intermediate interlocking gears thereof.
