In the construction method for driving the hollow pile by using the pile driver, in the case of soft ground, the spiral blade is screwed into the ground while a part below the lower closed end of the hollow pile is excavated by rotating the excavating head, in a state in which the lower end of the opening of the hollow pile is closed with the cap, so that the hollow pile can be pressed into the ground; and in the case of hard ground, excavated sediment is fed into the hollow pile from the lower end of the opening while a part below a lower opened end of the hollow pile is excavated by rotating the excavating head, in a state in which the lower end of the opening of the hollow pile is opened by using the cap, and the compaction of the excavated sediment in the hollow pile is suppressed by rotating the working rod, so that a vertical hole can be precedently excavated below the lower end of the hollow pile and so that the hollow pile can be pressed into the vertical hole.
