    • PURPOSE:To stably manufacture a high strength galvannealed steel sheet at the time of plating a steel sheet contg. P having specified concn. by a continuous galvanizing device having no oxidation free furnace by dividing a reduction furnace into plural zones and controlling the dew point of the atmosphere of each zone. CONSTITUTION:By the continuous galvanizing device having no oxidation free furnace, a steel sheet having >=0.03% P content is plated to manufacture a high strength galvannealed steel sheet. At this time, a reduction furnace is divided into >=two zones, the compsn, of the atmosphere of each zone is constituted of gaseous N2 contg, about 1 to 70% H2 and the dew point in controlled by introducing water vapor into the furnace. In a first zone, the dew point is controlled to be >=0 deg.C, and the thickness of an Fe oxide film on the surface of the steel sheet is regulated to 100 to 1000Angstrom . From a second and subsequent zone, the dew point is controlled so as to regulate the film thickness of an Fe oxide to about =0.03% P concn. is obtd. with good productivity.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a high P-contg. high strength galvannealed steel sheet excellent in plating adhesion by forming an iron oxide film in an oxidizing zone on a high P-contg. high strength steel sheet, partially reducing it in a reducing zone and finishing the reduction immediately before its impregnation into a plating bath. CONSTITUTION:At the time of applying galvanization and a heating alloying treatment to a high strength steel sheet having 0.01 to 0.2% P content, at first, it is oxidized in an oxidizing zone in the atmosphere of 0.9 to 1.2 combustion air ratio to form an iron oxide film having several thousands Angstrom thickness on the steel sheet. Then, the steel sheet is reduced in a reducing zone so that 200 to 1000Angstrom thickness in iron oxide remains. Thereafter, reduction is executed by vapor contg. one or >= two kinds among Na, K, Ca, Mg and Mn and having high reducing properties immediately before plating, and the reduction of the iron oxide film is finished. The steel sheet is galvanized and heated and alloyed to obtain the objective high P-contg. high strength galvannealed steel sheet excellent in plating adhesion.
