    • PURPOSE:To attain the ignition-off of a vehicle in speaking by off-controlling the power source control part of an on-vehicle external equipment with a second signal from a portable radio telephone system. CONSTITUTION:When using the portable radio telephone system 1 in a vehicle by connecting it to the on-vehicle external equipment, a first signal line 16 transmitting the state of the ignition of the vehicle is necessary to be on. Namely, the turning-on of an ignition signal turns the power source control part 18 to be on and the supply of the power source 17 to the portable radio telephone system 1 makes it possible to operate a speech. Then, the portable radio telephone system 1 detects that a signal in an on-state is transmitted from a control part 12 to the first signal line 16 and transmits a signal to the second signal line 19 to hold the power source control part 18 of the on-vehicle external equipment 13 to be in the on-state. Consequently, in the state of speaking, even when the vehicle is stopped (ignition-off), the second signal line 19 transmits the signal of turning-on the power control part 18 so that power can be supplied for the portable radio telephone system 1.
