摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a bearing constituting body capable of maintaining high accurate rotation, a high speed spindle motor provided with this, and a spindle motor for an air spinning frame by providing a means effectively c preventing outflow of magnetic fluid from compound seals arranged on both sides of a radial bearing. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic thrust bearing 10 is constituted of a non-magnetic collar 19, a permanent magnet 20 magnetized in the axial direction, a magnetic shield plate 22, and a magnetic substance 21, and a rotary shaft is positioned by magnetic attracting force applied on the permanent magnet 20 and the magnetic substance 21. A bearing housing 2 integrated with a radial bearing part 3 is fitted in a motor housing 7, chambers storing magnetic fluid 5 are provided on both end parts of the radial bearing 3, and magnetic fluid 6 is enclosed so as to have a space (r). Further, the storing chambers on both end parts of the radial bearing 3 are communicated to each other through a hole. Outflow of the magnetic fluid at a standstill or low rotating speed is prevented by means of magnetic fluid seals 4a, 4b.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a magnetic fluid from outflowing to the outside due to the thermal expansion of a lubricating fluid in use of the magnetic fluid for lubricant by providing a space between a magnetic fluid seal and bearing section and supporting a lubricating mechanism for lubricating fluid utilizing the rotation of a shaft by the bearing. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic fluid seal 2 consisting of a permanent magnet 3, magnetic pole piece 4, cover 5 and magnetic fluid 12 is provided coaxially with a bearing housing 14, while first and second radial bearings 6, 7 and a thrust bearing 8 are disposed. Lubricating fluid 11 is enclosed to an end b of the first radial bearing 6 and fluid paths a-d are formed by the bearing housing 14, radial bearings 6, 7 and rotary shaft 1 while a thrust bearing 8 is formed with a circulating path passing through a gap F and holes 9, 10 formed of a lubricating film formed by the rotation of the rotary shaft 1. The magnetic fluid seal 2 is stuck to the opened end side of the bearing housing 14 to be spaced from the first radial bearing 6 so that the lubricating fluid is blocked from outflow to the outside.

A recessed section 24 is formed between the boss section 16a of the rotor supporting member 16 and the annular projection 16b at the outer periphery of the member 16 and, accordingly, the rotor supporting member 16 is contacted with the lower surface of the polygon mirror 14 through the narrow annular projection 16b only whereby a chance, in which a polygon mirror motor is assembled under a condition that dust is bitten between the rotor supporting member 16 and the polygon mirror, may be very rare and, therefore, a chance, in which the tilting of the surface of the polygon mirror 14 is generated, may be rare. According to this method, the yield of products can be improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve uneven rotation and the tilting of the surface of a mirror by a method wherein radial bearings are fitted to the upper and lower openings of a bearing supporting body and a minute clearance, formed of a bearing supporting part between a magnetic seal and a thrust bearing and a shaft, is filled with magnetic fluid. CONSTITUTION:An air pocket 9 is formed at the upper end of a bearing supporting part 71 and a magnetic seal 10 is fitted into the inner periphery of the air pocket 9. The magnetic seal 10 is constituted of a permanent magnet and the yoke of a magnetic body, which pinches the permanent magnet, and a minute gap is provided between the inner periphery of the magnetic yoke and a shaft 15 to effect magnetic seal by the minute gap. In this case, radial bearings 4, 5 or a thrust bearing 6 and a space between the bearing supporting part 71 and the shaft 15 become a sealed type magnetic fluid bearing 18 by filling the gap between the bearing supporting part 71 of the bearing supporting body 7 and the shaft 15 with the magnetic fluid 11. According to this method, uneven rotation of a motor or the tilting of the surface of a polygon mirror 14 may be improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To surely lubricate a seal ring and prevent burning even when the water feed quantity is small by feeding water to an inner periphery side gap formed by a rotary shaft and a seal case and a flange. CONSTITUTION:Water feeding means 9a, 9b and 13 feeding water to an inner periphery side gap 10 formed by a rotary shaft 1 and a seal case 5 and a flange 3 are provided on the inner periphery side of a seal ring 4. When water is fed to such a shaft seal device through a water feed pipe 9a, water is filled in the inner periphery side gap 10 on the inner periphery side of the seal ring 4, part of it lubricates the sliding face of the seal ring 4 and then is leaked to the outside of the seal ring 4, but this quantity is slight, thus the inner periph ery side gap 10 is invariably filled with water. Even if the water feed quantity is small, there is no fear of burning due to water exhaustion. Since water is fed to the inner periphery side of the seal ring 4, the centrifugal force is in creased and the lubricating water quantity is increased as the rotation speed is increased. The stable sliding characteristic is obtained with a small water feed quantity, and the burning of the seal ring can be prevented.

An oil bath cover 11 under the ring 4 is provided with a seal ring to form a gap seal between the cover 11 and the rotating shaft 1. The assembling of a magnetic fluid sealing device can thus be facilitated, and its life can be prolonged.

Hatching sections 7 are bonded with inorganic heat-resistant adhesives for fixing the windings 3A-3F to the stator 2.
