After TOT rewriting in consideration of a loss time required for signal processing at a TOT rewriting processing part 16, time division multiplex is performed by a multiplexing processing part 17 to reconfigurate a TS broadcast signal and then transmit from a TTL transmission part 18 to a nextstage relay station by a TTL wave. By arranging such a relay transmittion apparatus as this for an intermediate relay station, TTL 2-stage relay is disolved while maintaining the signal quality.
