摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a water-soluble processed hemoglobin having extremely excellent absorptivity of iron and suitable as a raw material for food, in a deodorized and decolored state, by deodorizing a raw hemoglobin and treating with hydrogen peroxide under a specific alkaline condition. CONSTITUTION:Raw hemoglobin is washed with water and separated into solid and liquid. The solid component is dispersed and dissolved in water under alkaline condition (pH>=9). The obtained solution is decolored by treating with hydrogen peroxide, cooled and optionally treated with a catalase to completely remove residual hydrogen peroxide, and the catalase is inactivated. The solution is optionally purified by carrying out isoelectric precipitation before or after the catalase treatment and the obtained processed hemoglobin is optionally converted to concentrated solution or dried powder by conventional method.

摘要： PURPOSE:To recover proteins from erythrocyte in high efficiency, by hemolyzing erythrocyte in water, subjecting the obtained hemolysate to pH modification treatment to precipitate the proteins, concentrating the supernatant liquid to precipitate residual proteins and combining the above procedures. CONSTITUTION:Erythrocyte is hemolyzed in water or an aqueous solution of ethanol. The pH of the hemolysate is adjusted to =8.5 and the adjusted to 7-8 to recover proteins as a precipitate. The supernatant liquid is concentrated to precipitate and recover the residual proteins. The above pH modification treatment and the supernatant concentration treatment are combined to effect the recovery of the proteins in erythrocyte. The concentration of the supernatant liquid is carried out preferably by using a vacuum concentrator furnished with an apparatus to prevent the foaming of proteins.
