    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction apparatus in which the work of welding a fit part of a heat transfer tube to a tube plate and the work of maintaining start-up equipment are facilitated. SOLUTION: This reaction apparatus has a reaction vessel, the heat transfer tube 3 which is arranged inside the reaction vessel and through which a cooling or heating medium is circulated and the tube plate 1 fixed to a part (the butt end) of the reaction vessel. The tube plate 1 has a first plate-shaped member 1a arranged in such a position that the tube plate is contacted with a reactive fluid housed in the reaction vessel and a second plate-shaped member 1b arranged in such a position that the tube plate is not contacted with the reactive fluid. At least the portion of the first plate-shaped member 1a to be contacted with the reactive fluid consists of a high corrosion-resistant metal having comparatively high corrosion resistance to the reactive fluid and the second plate-shaped member 1b consists of a low corrosion-resistant metal having comparatively low corrosion resistance to the reactive fluid. The heat transfer tube 3 is welded/fixed to the first plate-shaped member 1a, the first plate-shaped member 1a is welded/fixed to the butt end of the reaction vessel and the second plate-shaped member 1b is fixed to the butt end of the reaction vessel to be attached/detached.
