摘要： PURPOSE:To improve adsorbing ability of sea water uranium through molding and drying by adding soluble high polymer material to titanic acid, dissolving the same in water, adding sulfuric acid then neutralizing the same. CONSTITUTION:Soluble high polymer material having heat reversible gelation characteristic is mixed in powder or fine particle form titanic acid. Next, the mixture is dissolved in cold water, after which sulfuric acid is added. Next, this is neutralized, thence it is molded to such a shape at which contact efficiency with sea water and water flow resistance become optimum. It is then sufficiently dried and dehydrated, whereby the porous adsorber having a large adsorbing surface area is obtained. If the adsorbed uranium is desorbed, its reuse is also possible.

CONSTITUTION:Towers B, C are being operated in an adsorption stage, towers A, D in a pressurizing stage, and a tower E in a decompressing, desorbing, reflux and regenerating stage. A gas contg. 40-60% oxygen and flowed out of the tower B is decompressed by a decompressing valve or a cold-generating means 2 to a press. 1.0-1.5kg/cm .abs. and is introduced to the tower C having completed the decompressing, desorbing, reflux and regenerating stage E, where it is recovered as aproduct gas of 70-90% oxygen concn. A gas flowing out of the tower A is introduced into the tower D having completed adsorption stage C while changing oxygen concn. from 40-60% to 21%, pressurizing the tower D to a press. 5.0-6.0kg/cm .abs. The tower E having completed pressurizing stage A is decompressed so as to be desorbed of adsorbed material, then desorbed of residual adsorbed material so as to regenerate the adsorbing agent.

摘要： PURPOSE:A new denitrizing catalyst consists of TiO2 carrying as active ingredient a specific proportions of WO3 and V2O5 respectively and has a highly efficient function when used in NH3 reduction process for contact-reducing removal of NOx without being adversely affected by SOx or dust. CONSTITUTION:A denitrizing catalyst is represented by the formula in which TiO2 is present in the form of anatase type. In the catalyst, the optimum ratio of WO3/ V2O5 is 2 to 5 and WO3+V2O5/TiO2 ratio of 0.03 to 0.12 is preferable. The catalyst is prepared as follows. V2O5 is dissoved in oxalic acid to form weak acidic solution of vanadyl oxalate, which is impregnated into TiO2 to be carried by, and then dried. The TiO2 carrier so impregnated and dried is next impregnated with para tungustate ammonium solution in aliphtic amine then dried and fired. The resultant catalyst has an excellent dinitration property and inhibits the oxydation reaction of SO2 to SO3.

摘要： PURPOSE:To cheaply produce the title carrier of light weight and considerable strength by adding CaSO4 to a slurry of calcium silicate crystals obtd. by accelerating hydrothermal synthetic reaction and crystallization after which the CaSO4-added slurry is molded, dried, and treated with an aq. soln. of sulfuric acid or its cpd. CONSTITUTION:A mixt. of silicic acid and lime raw materials suspended in water is stirred under press. with heating, and the stirring is sometimes intermitted or interrupted to accelerate hydrothermal synthetic reaction and crystallization, thus obtaining a slurry of calcium silicate crystals. Less than 50, pref. 1-20% of CaSO4 is added to the slurry. The CaSO4 added may be gypsum or beta-type hemihydrate gypsum. The slurry is then dehydrated, molded, and dried, and the obtd. molding is dipped in an aq. soln. of sulfuric acid, ammonium sulfate or other sulfate, or it is brought into contact with a SOx-contg. gas to neutralize oxides such as CaO and Na2O in the molding.
