    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an end part of an insulation coat of an insulation-coated probe pin into a shape in which a cross section is substantially right-angle by a simple method with high dimensional accuracy.SOLUTION: An electrode 22 is soaked in a solvent in which, under an electrodeposition layer L1 made of a first solvent containing an electrodeposition material for forming an insulation coat 12, a lower layer L2 made of a second solvent having specific gravity larger than that of the first solvent and containing no electrodeposition material is arranged, a probe pin 11 is vertically inserted thereinto such that a detection end side 11a of the probe pin 11 is directed downward, and the electrode 22 and the probe pin 11 are energized after a lower boundary surface A1 between the lower layer L2 and the electrodeposition layer L1 is stabilized. Therefore, the insulation coat 12 is formed in an area of the electrodeposition layer L1 such that a cross section of an end part 12a of the insulation coat 12 on a detection end side is substantially right-angle throughout its entire perimeter.
