And the rolls 7 and 9 support the rolls 1 and 2 respectively from the lateral direction.

SOLUTION: Swing motion by the rotation of two crankshafts 2 facing each other is transmitted to two first blocks 9 facing each other which are located inside of the two crankshafts 2. At least one arm 3 which rotates freely is attached to one crankshaft 2. The arm tip keeps contact with the first block 9 and at least one side of contact surface is made to be cylindrical or spherical, and the other is a plane. A balance equipment which pulls the first block 9 in the outside crankshaft direction is established, too. By this, it is possible to simplify the structure, while the stability of the mechanism is ensured.

And, to transmit torque necessary to the work rolls 3, the roll balancing force or the bending force of the work roll is controlled when a rolled stock is bitten and contact force between rolls with an intermediate roll 4 is increased.
