    • PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of a one-way clutch and reduce the size of an automatic speed changing gear by engaging a circular drum, in which a fixed member inside a case is to be subjected to reaction of one-way clutch, on the sleeve part of the clutch through spline grooves and mounting a hydraulic servo inside said drum.
      CONSTITUTION: In this automatic transmission gear, a circular drum 4 is engaged through spline grooves on the sleeve part 2b of the inner race 2a of a one-way clutch F2 as to have the fixed member 3a inside the automatic transmission gear case 3 subjected to the reaction of the one-way clutch F2. A hydraulic servo which consists of both a piston 4P and a return spring 4a is mounted inside said drum 4. The end bearing of the one-way clutch may therefore be made compact so that the size of the automatic transmission gear can be reduced.

In this case, a plurality of oil grooves 8 for connecting the inner periphery side and the outer periphery side to each other are radially formed on a pressing surface 7 of a piston fitted in a cylinder 5, which is adapted to press the frictional engagement device 3. In this arrangement, even if the frictional engagement device 3 is engaged, lubricating oil can be smoothly discharged to the outer periphery side to prevent a rise in oil temperature.
