In dia. enlarging work, in case of the double clad pipe 3, a plug 4 is inserted into the inner layer material 1 and the outer layer material 2 and pushed-in up to the middle thereof. In case of the double clad rod, a wedge-shaped plug is pushed-in up to the middle thereof. In dia. reducing work, the double clad pipe 3 is pushed in a die 5 up to the middle thereof. The prescribed parts of the inner layer material and the outer layer material are then machined and removed and the straight pipe type dissimilar metallic pipe joint consisting of the inner layer material at the one end side and the outer layer material at the other end side and having the same inside and outside dia. extending over the joint entire length or the different dia. type dissimilar metallic pipe joint having the different inside and outside dia. from the joint central part is formed. By this method, the dissimilar metallic pipe joint is manufactured efficiently.

    • PURPOSE:To curtail a cutting stage and to improve working effieiency by parting a formed article which is formed by winding spirally a long-sized blank pipe on a mandrel having a prescribed outside diameter, to a prescribed circumferential length then straightening the same. CONSTITUTION:The top end of a blank pipe P delivered from a guide device 2 is pressed and fixed toward a mandrel 11 by a pawl part 14, and the device 2 inclined to have a pitch anglebeta, then a block 13 is rotated. The device 2 is moved at the same instant in the direction parting from a block 12 in such a way that the pitch at each one revolution of the mandrel 11 is delta, thus winding spirally the pipe P on the outside circumference of the mandrel 11. The pipe P is cut on the outlet side of the device 2 upon ending of winding and is removed from the mandrel 11 by releasing the pressing by a pawl part 14. The resulting semiprocessed product C is parted to a prescribed circumferential length to obtain a bent product M, which is positioned in the groove parts of dies 41, 41 of a setting tool 4, then the dies 41, 41 are pressed to set the twist and flattening of the product M.

    • PURPOSE:To align the care of a probe to a spherical end plane by one touch and to make the probe core to follow up the aligned core even when a pipe- shaped material is rotated, by providing a profiling base which is rocked and aligned by pushing and a probe holder supported freely rotatably and rockably. CONSTITUTION:The profiling base 6 is supported freely rockably on the plane orthogonal to the shaft core of a revolving main body 5 by free bearings 8, 8'. Free bearings 9, 9' for profiling are provided at the circumference of a measuring hole 7, and are rocked by pushing of the spherical end plane 4, the cores of the plane 4 and the base 6 are matched and aligned. The plane 4 of the pipe- shaped material held at the body 5 is pushed against the base 6 to align the cores of the base 6 and the plane 4, an electromagnet 12 is excited to fix the base 6 and the body 5 and flaw detection measurement is performed while rotating the body 5. A probe holder 14 is rocked and rotated by free bearings 16, 17, and the core of the probe 13 follows up the spherical end plane core and is not detached at all.
