摘要： PURPOSE:To inexpensively and surely treat muddy water by providing a water- permeable sheet on the inner surface of a water-permeable member laid over the inner surface and furnishing an openable and closable discharge part at a part of a storage tank. CONSTITUTION:A porous concrete plate, for example, as the water-permeable member 11 is laid over the inner surface of the bottom 6 and side 4 of the storage tank 3. The water-permeable sheet 12 made of a nonwoven fabric is laid over the inner surface of the water-permeable member 11 and the inner surface of the discharge part 5 in the form of a box. When the muddy water M to be treated is injected into the storage tank 3, the water W in the muddy water M naturally permeates the sheet 12 and member 11 and flows out to the outside of the storage tank 3 from a discharge part 9 provided at the bottom 6. By this method, the running cost is reduced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the inspection the presence of defects of the inner-shell concrete of a multi-casing-type vessel by a method wherein said vessel is sealed up hermetically at a position somewhat lower than the top surface thereof and air is sent into the vessel so as to observe visually the occurrence of air bubbles in a liquid. CONSTITUTION:A steel top cover 1 of thickness 10-15mm. is set at a position somewhat lower than the top surface of a vessel of inner-shell concrete (b) placed on the inner surface of an outer-shell drum (a), and the top cover and the vessel are fastened together by an appropriate fastening device such as a sqill vise 5, for instance, through the intermediary of a reaction-force device 4 so as to seal up the vessel hermetically. Then, the vessel being thus sealed up, air is sent into the vessel and the occurrence of air bubbles in a liquid is observed visually. The presence of any harmful defects such as pinholes and cracks in the inner-shell concrete of a multi-casing-type vessel can be inspected by conducting an air leak test in this way.
