The total loss of the motors A and B becomes the minimum value by controlling an inverter 26 from the allocated torque commands, and the high efficiency operation is obtained. The temperature rising of the motors A and B is suppressed by setting the assignment of the torque allocation in response to the result of the comparison of temperatures tA and tB.

A speed operating circuit 200 operates the rotating speed of the rotor based on the actual values of the voltage and the current or the command values of the voltage and the current of the synchronous motor 20. The rotating speed (n) operated with the speed operating circuit 200 is used as the speed-command value n* for the induction motor 30, and the speed control loop for the induction motor 30 is constituted.

摘要： PURPOSE:To realize a system capable of improving efficiency, making output higher and lowering cost in a wide speed range in an AC variable-speed driver to be used for electric vehicle, etc. CONSTITUTION:In an AC variable-speed driver, an AC motor M is equipped with first and second stator windings 23, 33 arranged in the manner of not magnetically interfering with each other, first rotor 21 constituting a synchronous motor 20 together with the first stator winding 23 and having a permanent magnet 22, and second rotor 31 constituting an induction motor 30 together with the second stator winding 33 and being arranged on the same axis as that of the first rotor 21. Further, an inverter supplies respective stator windings 23, 33 with AC power so that the synchronous motor 20 and induction motor 30 are driven individually. When the AC motor M having both induction motor 30 and synchronous motor 20 and the inverter are combined with each other, it is possible to improve efficiency, to make output higher and to lower cost in a wide speed range.

CONSTITUTION:Power from a power supply 2 is converted by an inverter 3 having a required voltage and a required frequency, and an induction motor 4 is operated by this AC power. A voltage and a frequency at that time are open-controlled so as to obtain values corresponding to a speed command value set by a speed setter 8. A torque of the induction motor 4 is calculated by a torque computing element 7 from detected input voltage and input current. An adder 9 as a drooping means for speed command value performs the operation of subtracting a calculated torque value from a speed command value set by the speed setter 8, so that the speed command value input to the inverter 3 decreases in response to an increase in motor torque, that is, an increase in the load. The frequency and voltage of AC power output by the inverter 3 decreases in response to the increase in load.
