    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide filter whose case subjected to an iris processing and whose cover can be standardized in case of change in frequency, bandwidth and the like and which has a convenient structure making one arbitrary parameter semi-nonadjustable. SOLUTION: With respect to the waveguide filter, the case 1 is U-shaped in cross section and extends in the direction of one axis. Its flat bottom is provided with several iris parts 1a at predetermined intervals along the axis. The cover 2 has three mounting surfaces M1-M3 which can be respectively fitted to openings in the case 1. The mounting surfaces M1-M3 are in different shapes so that the cover 2 can be fitted in response to change in frequency when the bandwidth is constant (the waveguide distance a1 of the mounting surface M1 is set for the minimum frequency mode, the waveguide distance a2 of the mounting surface M2 is set for the medium frequency mode and the waveguide distance a3 of the mounting surface M3 is set for the maximum frequency mode).     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide type dielectric filter which does not produce the problem of mechanical strength and is easily manufactured.
      SOLUTION: In this waveguide type dielectric filter in which a plurality of resonators are constructed in a dielectric block and connection between the resonators is adjusted, the dielectric block is formed by connecting a plurality of dielectric boards divided in the arrangement direction of the resonators, and a connection part between the resonators consists of grooves formed on the connection surfaces of the connection part. Through holes are formed on the connection surfaces to be connection adjusting parts. The grooves are formed at least on one of the connected dielectric boards, and a conductive film of the connection surfaces can be a connection part for an inputting-outputting part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide filter which is superior to connectivity with a flat plane circuit and easy-to-achieve in a microwave band and a millimeter- wave band. SOLUTION: A metal shield housing 10, of which the inner space part is provided with projected walls 20-25, are pasted on a grounding conductor part 50 formed on a surface on a dielectric substrate 30, and a transmission path formed on the surface of the dielectric substrate 30 is electromagnetically coupled to the inner space part of the shield housing 10, so that it becomes possible for the waveguide filter which is superior to the connectivity with the flat plane circuit formed on the dielectric substrate 30 to be configured with ease and at low costs. The shield housing 10 can be formed integrally into a cover for shielding the whole flat plane circuit, and the whole circuit, including the waveguide filter, can be configured in a small size.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the resonance frequency of a dielectric filter than can be used in >=5 GHz high frequency and to make the size small. SOLUTION: This filter is made in a structure connecting rectangular parallelepiped dielectrics and forms an input-output electrode in which the periphery is surrounded by a ground electrode on one surface of the respective dielectrics. A ground conductor is also formed on the surface except the joining faces of the dielectrics and a resonator is connected on the joining faces where the dielectrics are exposed to configure the filter. Recessed parts 19 and 20 which have a conductor film on the surface are formed at positions facing the input- output electrodes on the surface that is opposite to the surface on which the input-output electrodes are formed and the dielectric filter in a desired frequency is obtained by selecting its area and depth.
