    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the raw material loss and at the same time, make it possible to continuously manufacture a good molding without investing equipment cost by forming a part for receiving both side edge parts of a water-permeable sheet on the suction face of a suction means, of a waterpermeable member which is made of a raw material whose solid component is non-penetrable and communicates with a suction device. SOLUTION: The suction box 6 of a suction means 4 is equipped with a box body 6a and a water-permeable member 6b. On the suction face 62 side of the box body 6a, both edge parts 8 are notched by the thickness of the water- permeable member 6b from the center part 67 and a plurality of suction holes 63, 63' are pierced. The water-permeable member 6b is formed of the same material as a water-permeable sheet 2. In addition, leak barrier walls 66a, 66b are formed on both sides of the suction face 62 and an air hole 64 communicating with a decompression box 5 is formed on the bottom face side. Even when a molding raw material leaks from the edge of the water-permeable sheet 2, passage of the solid component is not allowed by providing the water- permeable member 6b and thus it is possible to prevent the raw material loss and air leakage into a vacuum from occurring.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the automation of replacement of a roller by a method wherein a roller, selected arbitrarily from a roller station, and a roller head, positioned at press molding position, are moved to the replacing position of rollers respectively to replace the roller while the removed roller is returned to the roller station. SOLUTION: In a molding section B, the roller head 11 of a pressure roll molding machine is positioned at a position whereat a gypsum mold 2 is stopped and is moved between the press molding position and the replacing position of rollers. A pallet 14 is provided slidably below the roller head 11 at the replacing position of the rollers to put the roller 13, removed out of the roller head 11, thereon. Then the replaced roller is returned to the roller station by a roller traverser 15. On the other hand, a roller 13 for replacing, which is selected from a roller station 17, is put on the pallet 14 to send the same to the replacing position of the rollers by the roller traverser 15 and mount the same on the roller head 11 whereby the automatic replacement of the rollers is finished.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make various thicknesses and shapes uniform by longitudinally moving a developing roll of a sectional shape oppositely to the suction surface molded in the shape of one surface of a molding plate along the shape of the other surface in the advancing direction of a water permeable sheet, and shaping a raw material on the sheet between the roll and the suction surface to squeeze excess moisture. SOLUTION: A water permeable sheet 2 and a suction box 6 having many perforated water suction holes are rotated in the same direction at the same speed, and a pressure reducing box 5 is pressure-reduced by a pressure-reducing means. A raw material is supplied onto the sheet 2 from a raw material supply unit 3 so formed as to longitudinally move in the advancing direction of the sheet 2 in a moving range 7, and developed by developing rolls 33, 34. At this time, the suction surface of the box 6 is formed in a waveshape, the sheet 2 is formed in shape along the suction surface by the pressure-reducing means, and the rolls 33, 34 are formed substantially in sectional waveshape, and hence the material is shaped to the waveshape by the development of the rolls 33, 34.
