    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration and noise caused by the pulsating motion of a pump without increase of the weight, by providing a pumping part in a main body and forming a volute part installing a volute chamber and a filter part adjacent to the volute part so as to make cylindrical bodies and providing ribs in the filter part. SOLUTION: The upper end of the flow passage forming in the passage extending upward from a pump part 33 installed in the main body 30 of a pumping unit reaches the cylindrical volute part 36 forming a volute chamber. A cylindrical filter part 37 installed adjacently to the volute part 36 in the horizontal direction to contain the filter in the inside is reinforced by ribs R. A bypass valve part 39 containing a bypass valve connecting the filter chamber in the filter part 37 and the passage 7 at the pump inlet side, is a screw-in type and it is installed between the pump part 33 in the main body 30 and the filter part 37. Since pulsatory motions are not generated even if the wall is thin, owing to the ribs provided in the filter particularly having a large radius, the material can be reduced and a sturdy pumping part without pulsation can be obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow unloading not only at a gas station equipped with a vapor recovery machine but also at a station without the machine equipped. SOLUTION: Each hatch 3 is connected to a discharge pipe 5 via a bottom valve 4, an oil injection hose connection sensor 8 is provided on a coupling 7 provided at the tip of the discharge pipe 5, each hatch is connected to a vent pipe 10 via a vent valve 9, the vent pipe is split into two wherein an atmospheric valve 11 is provided at the tip of one of the split pipes while a coupling 12 and a vapor recovery hose connection sensor 13 are provided at the tip of the other split pipe, and a controller 14 for receiving signals from the connection sensors and a keyboard 18 and outputting open/close signals of respective valves is provided. A control part of the controller includes an unloading permit means for receiving a connection signal from the oil injection hose connection sensor and a hatch specifying signal from the keyboard and outputting an open signal for a bottom valve and a vent valve of the specified hatch and a tank opening means for outputting an open signal of the atmospheric valve with no input from the connection signal from the vapor recovery hose connection sensor when unloading is permitted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify construction and maintenance by a method wherein in such a case that OFF signals from a sensing means for outputting ON, OFF signals based on a departure and approach of a movable member to a movable electrode have been continuously outputted for a predetermine period of time, conditions of ON, OFF signals are judged to sense the inclination of a measuring machine and earthquake. SOLUTION: A sensor 20, which is constituted such that when it is subjected to vibration or inclined, a spherical moving body moves over a tapered part to separate a movable electrode from a stationary electrode, is provided and output signals from the sensor are inputted into an interface means 22. The means 22 comprises an earthquake sensitive interface 30 and inclination interface 31, and when ON, OFF signals from the sensor 20 have repeatedly occurred at the same cycle as earthquake, the interface 30 judges it an earthquake and outputs the signals to a measuring machine control device 10. On the other hand, the interface 31 judges, based on OFF time of output of the sensor 20, that the sensor 20 is inclined for a period longer than a period in the case of an earthquake and outputs the signals to a pump control device 15.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the manufacturing, transporting and installation works of a fire-resisting fence by inserting the stud sections of fence units manufactured in a factory into inserting holes and mutually Joining the fence units in the fire-resisting fence constructed in a gasoline station, etc. SOLUTION: A fence unit 10 is constituted by installing siding boards 17, 17a as noncombustible boards on both surfaces of a U-shaped sectional metallic frame 11 (end-section columns 12, intermediate columns 13, a top-section beam 14 and a lower beam 15) by screws 1, the lower sections of the end-section columns 12 are extended and stud sections 12a are formed, and the unit 10 is formed in size capable of being transported by an ordinary truck. Stud-section inserting holes, in which iron pipes are buried beforehand to a concrete foundation, are formed beforehand at the places of installation, the stud sections 12a, 12a of the adjacent fence units 10, 10 are inserted back to back, and the stud sections 12a, 12a are fixed by infecting mortar while the end-section columns 12, 12 of the fence units 10, 10 are connected by bolts and nuts. Accordingly, the fence units 10 manufactured in a factory are transported to a site, and can be assembled easily.
