CONSTITUTION:A wheeled capsule 10 traveling in a pipeline 20 of circular cross section is provided with a pair of wheels 11, 11 respectively at the front and rear in the longitudinal direction, and the wheels 11 are disposed in such a way that an intersection formed in a position S in pipeline cross section 21 by mutually intersecting the wheel faces 111 of the respective wheels 11 is above the center O of the pipeline cross section 21. Accordingly, when the capsule 10 is rotated obliquely, rotational moment in the reverse direction to the obliquely rotating direction acts so long as the point S is above the point O, so that the force to return into the stable state works. Because of the point S being above the point O, the wheel faces 111 come to have inclination alphato the wall surface of the pipeline. Camber thrust therefore acts at the travel time so as to generate additional rotational moment to return into the stable state, thus stabilizing travel.
