    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a tire-uniformity value stably and with high accuracy by a method wherein, when a measured internal-pressure change value is at a set value or higher, an abnormality is judged. SOLUTION: The air is introduced into a tire 1 which is held by a rim 2 and a rim 3 via a pipe 6. A change in the internal pressure of the tire 1 into which the air is introduced is measured by a measuring means 10. A change value which is measured by the measuring means 10 is compared with a set value which is set in advance. When the change value is at the set value or higher, an abnormality is judged by a judgment means 11. Then, a measuring apparatus is stopped by a stop means 12. The measuring means 10 is composed of, e.g. a pressure sensor or the like using a strain gage, and a measured value from the pressure detecting sensor is input to the judgment means 11. In addition, the judgment means 11 is composed of, e.g. a personal computer or the like. A set value which is set in advance is compared with the measured value by the judgment means 11. When the measured value exceeds the set value, an abnormality signal is input to the stop means 12. The stop means 12 stops the drive of the measuring apparatus.

SOLUTION: To a strip tire member 1, a light laid along its lateral direction is emitted from a light emitting means 3. The image of a centerline 2 taken by a camera 4 is binarized by an image processing device 11, and two end points of a marker by the light emitting means 3 are calculated by a first calculating means 6, and the position of a centerline application gun 7 is calculated by a second calculating means 8. The calculated value of the first calculating means 6 and the calculated value of the second calculating means 8 are comparatively calculated to calculate the off-center quantity of the centerline 2 by an arithmetic means 9, and the position of the centerline application gun 7 is corrected by a control means 10 on the basis of the arithmetic value. The first and second calculating means 6, 8 are involved in the image processing device 11, and the arithmetic means 9 is involved in a personal computer 12.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent wires from being crossed one another, and enable uniform corrugation by carrying out corrugation and lateral-throwing down in use of a wire sheet which is molded into a sheet in covering a plurality of wires with an elastic material. CONSTITUTION:By forming a wire sheet 3 in covering a plurality of hard wires 4 with an elastic material such as unvulcanized rubber or the like, when the wires 4 corrugated in a longitudinal wave manner are laterally thrown down, an elastic covering material takes in the distortion of the wires 4, so that they can be laterally thrown down in flatness. And the laterally thrown down wires 4 are restrained by the plasticizing properties of the unvulcanized rubber, thus the wires keep the laterally thrown down state. And respective wires are restrained in their movement by the elastic material 5. Whereby respective positional relations among mutual wires are kept constant, and there never occurs wire-crossing therein. And, since the difference in stretching force among the wires is taken in by the elastic material uniform 5, corrugation by use of a gear 6 can be conducted even if each tension of wires 4 in front and the behind of the gear 6 is not uniform.

CONSTITUTION:In a standard actuation operating unit, a standard program is memorized therein, and according to this, the direction of a cutter 10 is set by making it coincide with the cutting direction by means of a motor 11, and then heated, wherein a tyre 3 is rotated, and further the standard rate moving mechanism of a coming up and down table driving mechanism 8 is driven so as to make a coming up and down table 7 descend in the direction of a Z axis, as a result, the cutter 10 cuts into the tyre 3 and the necessary grooving is conducted thereby. While a correcting program is memorized in a correcting operation unit, and in the case where pitching occurs due to the distortion in a tread surface of the tyre 3, the pitching is detected by means of a pitching detector 14, and the moving rate correcting mechanism of the coming up and down table 7 is driven in accordance with the correcting value from the correcting program on the basis thereof, and thus the cutter position is corrected and the depth is kept constant. Accordingly, the desired grooving can be performed even if any pitching occurs in the tyre.

When the tread surface of the tire 3 is distorted and unevenness is generated from a reference surface shown by one-dot broken line, since a contact member 12 is brought into contact with the tread surface, a cutter clamp 86 allows an elastic member 9 to extend and contract corresponding to longitudinal vibration due to the unevenness to allow a cutter 10 to always move up and down so as to follow the tread surface and the depth of a groove to be formed is kept constant to prevent the generation of a shallow or deep part in the groove.
