摘要： PURPOSE:To cut a constituent materials of a tire precisely, reliably and in a fixed size, by a method wherein cutting is performed under a state where a tensile force is applied to the constituent material of the tire by lifting the constituent material of the tire upper than a conveying surface of a conveyor by a material supporting surface of an anvil. CONSTITUTION:An anvil 7 is prepared so that a waiting surface 34 becomes parallel with a conveying surface of a conveyor, positioned and fixed under a state where the anvil 7 does not come into contact with a constituent material 12 of a tire and a timing belt 11. Simultaneously with conveyance of a material a length is measured by a length counting sensor and when the conveyor 3 is stopped by conveying the constituent material 2 of the tire by a fixed length, tensile force is applied to the constituent material 2 of the tire by lifting up the constituent material 2 of the tire by a material supporting surface 24 by turning the anvil 7 rearward by 90 degrees by a rotary actuator 29. Then a driving lever 18 is turned by a rocking and driving cylinder 19, a material pressing finger 17 is lowered and the constituent material 2 of the tire is pressed against the material supporting surface 24 for fixing. Then a cutter 4 is lowered and inserted into a groove 35, the cutter 4 is slid in a widthwise direction of the material and the constituent material 2 of the tire to which the tensile force is applied is cut off.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable smooth conveyance by eliminating falling-in of a starting end of cutting of a material into a gap of a connecting part of conveyors by a method wherein a brush roll is arranged in the gap of the connecting part of the conveyor so that an axis of the brush roll meets at right angles with a conveying direction of a constituent material of a tire and the brush roll is driven forcibly so that the upper part of the brush roll becomes the same direction as a conveying direction of the material. CONSTITUTION:Both cutters are positioned at the center, cutting edges are put in order and positioned at the ceiling and on the other hand, after a constituent material 2 of a tire is sent into the cutting device by a fixed amount of length by a length counter sensor the same is fixed. Then cutters 18, 19 are lowered, after they are driven into the center of the material, moved outward so that cutter blocks 7, 8 are separated from each other and the constituent material 2 of the tire is cut off. When cutting is completed, the cutters 18, 19 and a material pressing arm 21 is raised, the conveyors 3, 4 and a brush roll 10 are turned in the same direction at the same time, the material 2 is conveyed and sent into a tire molding drum. Since a starting end of cutting of the constituent material 2 of the tire is supported by the brush roll 10 and the brush roll 10 is turning in the conveying direction, the starting end of cutting of the constituent material 2 of the tire does not fall into the gap 5 of a connecting part of conveyors and sent smoothly.

The centering plates 28 are then moved, separating from each other, and the bucket 11 is lowered and made to wait for automatic sticking of side walls. As the work is completed, the bucket 11 is moved up and after the green tire held in the sticking drum is supported and received therewith, the moving stand 4 is moved and returned to the waiting position after coming out from the underside of the sticking drum, and then the bucket 11 is tilted for transfer.
