摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction water heating appliance in which malfunctioning of various functions due to fuel end is avoided and a part of important necessary functions can be used continuously even if the remaining fuel is scarce. SOLUTION: At least a hot water supply circuit and a heating circuit are provided and one of them is initially set as a specific function or set by a user while being switched. When the specific function is 'water water supply' and the fact that the residual quantity of fuel has decreased to a set level is detected by an ON signal from the float SW in a fuel tank, a timer is started and a remote controller informs necessity of fuel supply and stoppage of functions other than hot water supply function (S1-S4). Both hot water supply and heating can be operated before time up and combustion of heating operation is stopped and combustion only of hot water supply operation is permitted upon time up (S5, S6). When the specific function is 'heating' and reduction of the remaining quantity of fuel is detected, combustion of hot water supply operation is stopped upon elapsing a specified time and combustion only of heating operation is permitted (S8-S12). In any case, the control is released upon fuel supply and full operation is permitted (S7, S13).
