摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of an oil content in the emulsion capable of easily and quickly determining the quantity of the oil content in the emulsion-type lubricant supplied to a machining and cutting part of metal or a sliding part of a mechanical component for providing the lubricity of the oil with a cooling function of the water. SOLUTION: The oil in the emulsion is dissolved by adding one or more kinds of alcohol represented by Cn H2n+1 OH, (poly)glycol represented by HO(Cn H2n )m OH, chained ether represented by Cn H2n+1 OCm H2m+1 , and cyclic ether represented by Cn H2n Om , to the emulsion prepared by dispersing the oil in the water to inhibit the scattering of the light of the ultraviolet-visible ray area to improve the transmittance in the wavelength area, and the absorbance of 200-900 nm of the solution is measured to measure the oil content in the emulsion.

SOLUTION: There are provided an alkali-soluble resin being a copolymer resin essentially consisting of a (meth)acrylic acid component (A) and an alicyclic epoxy polymerizable unsaturated monomer (B), wherein the amount of component A copolymerized accounts for 20-45 mol% of the total monomer component, that of component B copolymerized is 80-200%, based on component A, and the weight-average molecular weight is larger than 1,000, and further in addition to components A and B, at least 5 mol%, based on the total monomer component, aliphatic polycyclic compound copolymerized is contained, an image-forming material using this resin and an image element formed from this material.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the chromated metallic sheet by forming on the surface of a steel sheet, Al sheet, or the like, a resin-chromate coating film essentially consisting of a carbonyl compound containing resin having specific infrared absorption peaks and a chromate compound. SOLUTION: In this production, an aq. solution contg. a 10 to 200g/l hexavalent chromium concn. in its bath and also, 0.1 to 5% sulfuric acid and 0.1 to 5% fluoride ions based on the hexavalent chromium concn. is agitated at a 35 to 70 deg.C bath temp. for >=24hr and then, the bath temp. is brought back to ordinary temp. The resulting solution is mixed with a carbonyl compound containing resin to form a chromate bath and thereafter, the surface of a steel sheet, galvanized steel sheet, Al-based plated steel sheet, Al sheet or Al alloy sheet is coated with the chromate bath and dried and thereafter, immersed in hot water or boiling water. The resulting resin-chromate coating film after immersing it in boiling water has one or more infrared absorption peaks within each of the ranges of 1670 to 1760cm and 1500 to 1660cm . Thus, the objective chromated metallic sheet which shows excellent corrosion resistance in worked or flawed parts and a lesser extent of chromium dissolution can be produced.

Moreover, the oscillating timings from the laser oscillators 4 are adjusted, so that the laser irradiations are made with a mutual shifting of the laser pulses within 100nsec. This improves photochemically reactive efficiency of the total laser outputs.

CONSTITUTION:The laser beams introduced into a reaction vessel within the allowable fluences of window material, without losing any of their power, pass through a nonabsorbent space chamber 4 free from untreated gas and exceed the limit fluence, reaching a reaction chamber 7 through a separating plate 6 having an infrared ray permeable hole 5. The laser beams brought back within the limit fluence after passage through a plane including a focal point pass similarly through the nonabsorbent space chamber 4 and are brought down within the allowable fluence of the window material, after which they are sent out of the reaction vessel through an outlet window 9. Such laser beams are again converged through a condensing lens and introduced into a second reaction vessel formed similarly to the first mentioned one.

Laser light is irradiated to the alkene hydrocarbon-mixed raw material gas and the raw material gas is dissociated based on isotope shift of photoabsorptive properties of the raw material gas and carbon 13 isotope is separated and concentrated. The raw material fluorocarbon which produces difluorocarbene is preferably CHClF2, CHIF2, or CHBrF2. As a halohydrocarbon, halomethane is preferable.
