    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plated steel sheet superior in solder wettability and corrosion resistance on an end face. SOLUTION: The plated steel sheet superior in solder wettability and corrosion resistance on the end face is an Sn-Zn-based-alloy-plated steel sheet which has 5 mg/m 2 -100 mg/m 2 of a coating layer formed from a salt that does not contain S on at least one side. In the alloy-plated layer, Zn/(Zn+Sn) is 0.001-0.045. A concentration of the salt in its saturated solution is 10 mass% or more at 20°C. When each couple current I flowing from Zn to Fe is measured in the aqueous solutions, a couple current I 1 in the NaCl aqueous solution and a couple current I 2 in the NaCl aqueous solution containing the salt show a relationship that I 1 -I 2 becomes a negative value. The salt is one of a tungstate, a molybdate, a mixed salt of tungstate and citrate, a mixed salt of molybdate and citrate, a silicate, a phosphorus tungstate and a phosphorus molybdate, or a mixed salt of two or more thereof, of which the concentration of the saturated solution is 10 mass% or more.
