    • PURPOSE:To increase the mounting density on a printed-circuit board by providing test holes in the resin mold on a lead frame to eliminate test points so that a probe can be brought into contact with any terminal if the device is mounted on a printed-circuit board without providing test points. CONSTITUTION:An IC package in a resin mold 4 includes an IC chip 1, a lead frame 2 that carries the chip 1 and provides contact with other parts, and wires 3 connected between the chip and the lead frame. The resin on the lead frame has holes 5, through which the probe 7 of a tester 6 can be inserted for contact with any lead of the lead frame 2. Thus, there is no need for providing test points on a circuit board 8, thus increasing the mounting density on the board. In addition, contact between probes is prevented since they are separated by the resin.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a power source protective circuit by employing a resistor having positive resistance-temperature characteristic as a current limiting resistor to be inserted in series with a switching element which is conducted detection of abnormal source voltage thereby reducing power to be consumed through the resistor. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 6 does not conducts and the resistance thereof is selected to limit the current below the maximum conducting current of a thyristor 5 under sufficiently cooled state. Upon erroneous application of AC 200V voltage onto an AC input terminal 1, the thyristor 5 is conducted by the voltage divided through voltage dividing resistors 7a, 7b. After conduction of the thyristor 5, resistance of the resistor 6 increases through self-heating and a protective fuse 2 is blown off thus protecting a smoothing capacitor 8 from breakdown. Resistance of the resistor 6 increases through self-heating as the temperature rises and thereby scarce power is consumed before blow-off of the fuse 2. By such arrangement, the size of the source protective circuit can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To cancel a brightness difference between a central part and a peripheral part in the picture display face of a cathode ray tube and to prevent the fatigue of eyes by applying a voltage obtained by superimposing a video signal on a parabolic voltage synchronous with the first cycle of a scanning to the cathode of a cathode ray tube. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of an input terminal 1 and the parabolic voltage from a resistance variable terminal 4c are inputted to a preamplifier 2 to amplify the video signal, superimpose the video signal to the parabolic voltage, the output is inputted to an output circuit 3 and the amplified voltage is applied to the cathode 7 of the cathode ray tube 6 in the output circuit 3. Accordingly, a cathode voltage is changed so as to gradually enlarge an amplitude to the central part at the time of horizontally scanning the peripheral part of the picture displayface of the cathode ray tube 6. Namely, the cathode voltage is controlled so as to lower the brightness in the central part of the picture display face and raise the brightness in the peripheral part. Thereby, the brightness of the picture is made constant to eliminate the problem for the fatigue of the eyes.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity of changing parts or switching circuit for change of voltage of input power source and to restore demagnetizing function in a short time by connecting demagnetizing coils to both sides of a rush current limiting resistance and shortcircuiting and controlling both ends of the limiting resistance after extinction of rush current. CONSTITUTION:The point of difference of this unit from conventional ones is that demagnetizing coils 5 are connected to both ends of a rush current limiting resistance 6 removing a positive characteristic thermistor. When a switch 2 is made on with a smoothing capacitor 9 discharged sufficiently, the rectifying diode side 6b of the limiting resistance 6 is 0V, and input side 6a becomes 100V, and both ends voltage of the limiting resistance 6 is applied as it is to the demagnetizing coil 5. Both ends voltage of the limiting resistance 6 becomes lower with charging of the smoothing capacitor 9, and demagnetizing action is completed. Residual current that flows in the demagnetizing coil 6 disappears when a triode AC switch 7 is short-circuited.

    • PURPOSE:To surely prevent a CRT from burning out in case a horizontal or vertical deflecting coil is disconnected with a simple constitution, by stopping the driving of the horizontal or vertical deflecting coil when the disconnection of the deflecting coil is detected by a deflecting coil disconnection detecting circuit, and a disconection detect signal is received from the above mentioned disconnection detecting circuit by a driving stop circuit. CONSTITUTION:An input terminal 10 is connected to the terminal side of deflecting coils 1 and 2. When the deflecting coils 1 and 2 are disconnected, a transistor 11 is set to the off condition and, in this case, the electric potential of the positive side terminal A of a capacitor 17a goes to Vc and the position of its negative side terminal B attains to higher than the ground by the forward voltage (0.6V) of a diode 18a. When the deflecting coils 1 and 2 are not disconnected, the transistor 11 makes a switching operation by a signal to the input terminal 10 and, through the switching operation, capacitors 17a and 17b make charging and discharging. In case where the output voltage from an output terminal 25 is high, namely, when a disconnection detect signal is outputted, the driving operation of a horizontal and vertical coil driving circuits is stopped, and thus, a CRT is prevented from burning out.
