CONSTITUTION:The outer cylinder 2 for focusing is fitted coaxially and turnably around one end part of a main fixed lens barrel 1, and lenses L1-L3 for focusing are fitted to this outer cylinder 2. Further, a cam groove 3 is formed in the outer cylinder 2, which when turned around the optical axis, moves in an optical-axis direction under the guidance of a guide member 4 fitted in the cam groove 3. The guide member 4 is fitted turnably to a shaft 5 projected radially from the outer circumferential surface of the main lens barrel 1 and a specifying shaft 7 projected radially from the outer circumferential surface of the main lens barrel 1 is engaged with an arcuate long-sized hole 6 centering on the center of turning of the guide member 4, i.e. the axis of the shaft 5 to allow the guide member 4 to turn around the shaft 5 within the range of the long-sized hole 6, so that the outer cylinder 2 is moved finely in optical-axis directions by the turning of the guide member 4.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a video camera having high portability, by deflecting about 180 deg. the optical axis of a photographing lens and setting the photographing lens and a photoelectric converting means in parallel to each other. CONSTITUTION:A photographing lens 12 is attached to a video camera main body 11, and the optical axis 13 of the lens 12 is deflected 90 deg. by a half mirror 14 incorporated into the main body 11. The axis 13 is then folded 90 deg. again by a surface reflecting mirror 16 after passing through a relay lens unit 15 and reaches an image pickup tube 17. In other words, the lens 12 and the tube 17 are set in parallel to each other. A rectangular prism, etc. can substitute the mirrors 14 and 16 as the optical axis deflecting means. In such a constitution, a large projection is excluded and therefore the camera case can be miniaturized. This realizes a video camera having high portability.

CONSTITUTION:In case of zooming-in, when a tele-operation face 7b of an operation switch 7 is depressed softly, a notched part 11e and a ball 21 for click are engaged with each other, and a common point 11a and a contact 11b are made conductive, and a diode 19 for tele-display is lit to indicate preliminarily that the zooming operation is performed toward the tele-side. When the tele-operation face 7b is depressed more strongly, the notched part 11e gets over the ball 21 for click, and the common point 11a and contacts 11b and 11c are made conductive by a contact piece 11d. Then, a current is flowed to a DC motor 16 to drive a zoom lens barrel 24 in the direction of zooming-in. In case of zooming-back, the device is operated similarly by depression of a wide-operation face 7a.
