    • PURPOSE:To provide a projection television receiver for which a distance between a reflection mirror and a projection lens is minimized, the reflection mirror and the projection lens are constituted in one fixture and the fixing accuracy of the reflection mirror is improved. CONSTITUTION:The projection lens 1 is integrally constituted with a CRT 2 and is fixed to an attaching fitting 3, the attanching fitting 3 is supported by a fixing fitting 4 and the reflection mirror 5 is integrally constituted with the fixing fitting 4 simultaneously as well. In such a manner, the reflection mirror 5 and the projection lens 1 are constituted in the shortest distance, the accuracy of the attachment angle of the reflection mirror 5 is held and a screen is not affected even when a force is added from the outside of a main body or a back cover receives temperature change or secular change. Also, since the distance from the tip of the projection lens 1 to the reflection mirror 5 is as short as 100-120mm, the size of the fixing fitting 4 can be minimized as well.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a light, etc., in the vicinity of an operation part and to operate the operation part even in a dark room by providing transfer parts such as a fiber which transfers a part of light quantity from a light source to the vicinity of the operation part. CONSTITUTION:The light source 1 provided with a cold mirror 2 which separates an infrared ray from a visible light beam is held by a box-like light source supporting body 3 and the operation part 4 is fixed inside a door 6 which is attached to the main body 5 of a set and is reversely rotated. Since one part of the light is carried from the light source 1 to the vicinity of the operation part 4, the transfer parts 7 such as the fiber, etc., is fixed on the attaching part of a supporting body 3. Thus, the excess light from the light source is transferred to the operation part so that the operation of the operation part can be performed even in the dark room, and it is unnecessary to install the light, etc., in the vicinity of the operation part. By branching the fiber, the light from the light source is freely transmitted whatever part the operation part exists in.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a decrease in brightness balance and a color shade phenomenon by providing a right-left adjusting mechanism which moves a light source box in the right-left direction along the optical axis and an inclination adjusting mechanism which adjusts the inclination direction of the light source box to the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:The light source box 3 is supported by one right-left adjusting screw and two inclination adjusting screws 8. The screw part 7a of the right-left adjusting screw 7 is inserted into the female screw part 3a of the light source box 3 and held by an E ring 5 to constitute the right-left adjusting mechanism, and the inclination adjusting screws 8 consist of eccentric shafts 8a and 8b and are inserted into fitting parts 3b and 3c of the light source box 3 respectively to constitute the inclination adjusting mechanism. The light source box 3 is moved right and left by rotating the right-left adjusting screw 7 and moved up and down by rotating the inclination adjusting screws 8. Consequently, the optical axes of a light source and an optical system can freely be adjusted to eliminate the decrease in brightness balance and color shade phenomenon.

    • PURPOSE:To avoid the deterioration of performance caused by the heat source conduction from a light source by fixing a light source enclosure holding the light source an a cold mirror to an optical supporting member only in the vicinity of an installation part and constructing this projector so as to be through an air layer with non-connection other than the vicinity of the installation part. CONSTITUTION:A light source 1 and a cold mirror 2 separating infrared rays and visible rays are held by a light source box 3. An optical supporting member 4 holding a panel an a dichroic mirror pinches the light source box 3 with a part in construction, and is connected to the light source box 3 through the air layer by integrally provided plural connection members 5A-5F. Thus, since the member 4 and the box 3 are fixed with the minimum space by the connection members 5A-5F, the heat conduction from the light source 1 to the member 4 is extremely small, the heat from the light source 1 is smoothly discharged by a fan 8, and the increase of the temperature in the entire set can be avoided.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly and to contrive a cost reduction as well by forming 1st and 2nd fixing plates and 1st and 2nd revolving shafts of parts respectively having the same shapes. CONSTITUTION:A middle lens barrel 1 is moved forward and backward in order to focus the lens, but two pieces of lock bolts 9 are engaged with cam holes 3a, 3b of an outer lens barrel 3 and, therefore, the middle lens barrel 1 turns along the cam holes 3a, 3b and move in an optical axis direction in conformity with the curves of the cam. The same holds true of a front lens barrel 2. The outer lens barrel 3 and the middle lens barrel 1 as well as the front lens barrel 2 and the middle lens barrel 1 clatter less in the fitting parts and are, therefore, free from the inclination of the optical axis. The bolts 9 are turned to the last upon ending of the focusing. Lock nuts 10 are then raised and the outer wall of the outer lens barrel 3 is fastened by means of the bolts 9 and the nuts 10 to prevent the middle lens barrel 1 from moving on the side where a spacer 11 is inserted. The bolt 9 engages with the cam hole 3b and acts as the guide for sliding and rotating on the side where the spacer 11 is not inserted. While the nuts 10 and the bolts 9 of the same parts are used at the top and bottom of the centrally split middle lens barrel 1, one thereof plays the role of stopping the rotation and the other the role of a guide.
