    • PURPOSE:To operate a heater by the supply of necessary minimum current and secure comfortable condition, by a method wherein the heater is arranged at the blow-off port of air and the heater is put ON/OFF automatically by a room temperature detecting means so as not to feel coldness by blow-off air. CONSTITUTION:A heater 21 is connected to a power source 24 through a heater control means 25 while a driving motor 14 is also connected to the power source 24 through a motor rotation control means 26 and the heater 21 is connected in parallel to the driving motor 14. An operating means 30 obtains information from a room temperature detecting means 27, such as a thermistor or the like arranged on the main body of an air cleaning machine, a reference temperature setting means 28, setting a temperature whereat the stream of discharging air is felt cold, a motor rotation control means 26 and a zero volt pulse (ZVP) generating means 29 to compare and operate them. This pulse allows control of the phase of current supplied to a heater 21. The energization of a heater 21 is controlled by a heater control means 25 effecting phase control. According to this method, the energization of the heater 21 is effected when a room temperature is reduced to a temperature whereat coldness is felt by blow-off air during the operation of the motor 14 by the motor rotation control means 26.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance air cleaning effect by constituting the titled filter so that a chemical reaction type adsorbent for removing aldehyde-base gas components is mainly used and the filter is divided into this adsorbent and a physical adsorbent for removing the other gas components in a stratified form and arranging the former layer on the leeward of air to be cleaned. CONSTITUTION:Both an adsorbent 3 consisting of chemical reaction type activated carbon effective for aldehydes and an adsorbent 4 consisting of nontreated activated carbon or the like and having physical adsorptive capacity are divided in a stratified form by means of fibrous nonwoven fabric 1 thermoplastic resin such as PE by using an adhesive 2 of small impediment to adsorptive capacity and these are formed into a filter. This filter is used so that fluid (air) is allowed to flow to the side B from the side A, that is, the adsorbent 3 is positioned leeward. In this filter for cleaning air, high-mol.wt. components are removed by the windward adsorbent 4 and low-mol.wt. components difficult to be removed thereby are removed with the adsorbent 3 on the leeward side.

    • PURPOSE:To permit the selection of air discharging direction freely in front and in rear and right and left directions, by a method wherein a louver, provided at an air discharging port, is made so as to be a rectangular tube and a lattice is provided at one end of the inside of the tube while blades, connected by links, are supported by the holes of a shaft which are provided on the other end of the side wall of the tube. CONSTITUTION:A louver 26 is formed in the shape of a rectangular tube while shafts 29 and protrusions 30 are formed symmetrically on both end side walls 41, 41'. A lattice 31 is formed integrally with the tube at one end of the tube so that foreign matters will never enter into gaps between the lattice and the tube. Blades 32 are engaged with holes 34, provided on a link 33, pivotably by small shafts 35 so as not to be released readily. Shafts 36, 36' are formed on both ends of the blades 32 and are supported by holes 39, 39', which are provided on the front wall 37 and the rear wall 38 of the tube. The shafts 29 of the louver 26 are pinched by the rear wall 11 of a main body and a bulkhead 19 to hold it pivotably, therefore, not only the air discharging direction can be changed from a direction A to the direction B freely by moving the whole of the louver 26 but also the angle of discharging air can be changed to right and left by slanting the blades 32.

    • PURPOSE:To easily change the direction of discharged air by providing parallel front and rear walls and right and left walls at a certain angle to an air discharge opening from a grid with lateral and longitudinal components, supporting blades on axes deflecting the direction of wind inside the wall surfaces and connecting each blade with a link. CONSTITUTION:The grid 5 with lateral and longitudinal components is provided at the top end of a guide introducing air discharged from a fan, and front and rear walls 9, 9' are provided parallelly and right and left walls 10, 10' are provided at a certain angle to the air discharge opening from the grid. Axes 11, 11' on the blades 6 are rotatably inserted into the holes provided on the walls 9, 9'. Each blade is connected with the link 7. By this constitution, when it is used as a wall-hanging type, the discharged air is deflected by changing the angle of the blades 6 if it is felt cold when contacting the body, and, in a stationary type usage, foreign matters are prevented from entering the apparatus as the grid is provided.

A rib body to be abutted on a reinforcing rib part 97 of the lock lever 57 while the dust collecting part is attachable and detachable is provided to a lid body so that the lid body is not closed. Accordingly, the occurrence of an abnormal state due to the dismounting of the dust collecting part is prevented and safety is secured. Besides, a reliable electrical connection can be maintained for a long period.
