    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of solving the problem that deodorization efficiency of a deodorization filter is low and odor is not reduced well.
      SOLUTION: Connection to the vacuum cleaner allows a deodorizer 31 in a deodorizer storing chamber 26 to be thrown down to a deodorizer throw-in port 36, to be thrown into the dust collection box 3 of the vacuum cleaner, and to be mixed with dust. Thus, the odor of the dust is eliminated, so as to drastically reduce the odor of exhausted air. The cleaner has a structure to store the deodorizer 31, which is thrown down from the deodorizer storage chamber, near the deodorizer throw-in port 36, so as to allow the deodorizer to drop into the dust collection box 3 with the use of a disturbed flow by a suction flow. Consequently, the deodorizer is evenly mixed with dust in the dust collection box, so as to raise an effect to reduce the odor of the dust.

      SOLUTION: The suction tool comprises a first suction tool 11 provided with a suction chamber 24 having an intake port on the bottom surface, a second suction tool 10 freely attachable and detachable to/from the first suction tool 11 and provided with an opening on the front part, a rotary brush freely rotatably provided in the suction chamber 24 for raking up dust on a surface to be cleaned by being rotated by suction air by the motor-driven blower of an electric vacuum cleaner main body, and a ventilation port provided on the first suction tool 11 and communicated with the intake port. The joining part 19 of the ventilation port and the opening is positioned at the rear part of the rear wall 24a of the suction chamber 24. Since a fixed distance is secured between the opening and the suction chamber 24 and intake air smoothly flows, intake sound is reduced and noise is reduced. Also, since the need of separate components such as a motor for driving the rotary brush is eliminated, the first suction tool 11 is made light in weight and the dust on a carpet or the like is also raked out with the rotary brush, the dust collecting performance is improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction tool for a cleaner, the suction tool which is composed of two suction tools connected to each other in use, realizes stable cleaning operation using each suction tool and is lightweight and has improved dust collecting performance.
      SOLUTION: The suction tool for the cleaner comprises: a first suction tool 11 having a rotary brush 20 to be rotated by suction air by a motor-driven blower (not shown in the figure) incorporated in a cleaner main body (not shown in the figure) to rake up dust on a surface to be cleaned; and a second suction tool 10 freely attachable and detachable to/from the first suction tool 11 and having a function of sucking the dust on the surface to be cleaned. The second suction tool 10 is freely detachably connected to the first suction tool 11 and the cleaning operation using each suction tool is stably performed. Also, since the first suction tool 11 is provided with the rotary brush 20 to be rotated by the suction air of the motor-driven blower, a separate component such as a motor for driving the rotary brush 20 is not needed and thus the first suction tool 11 can be made lightweight. Also, since the dust of a carpet or the like is raked out by the rotary brush 20, the dust collecting performance is improved.
