    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the resistance characteristics of diffracted images to a wavelength deviation and to avert the interference noise by the phase deviation accompanying the wavelength deviation. SOLUTION: A mask 5-4 with openings is arranged between a recording medium 5-2 and a two-dimensional photodetector 5-5. The mask 5-4 has a plurality of apertures 5-6 having regular hexagonal shapes paralleling the straight lines connecting two vertexes furthest from each other of hexagonal shapes to a progressing direction 5-8 of guided light. The apertures 5-6 are so formed that the apertures 5-6 imparted with the same symbols open simultaneously and that the apertures 5-6 imparted with the different signals are held closed. Diffracted image regions 5-7 arriving on the photodetector 5-5 through the apertures 5-6 are formed as the hexagonal shapes which do not overlap each other and completely cover the surfaces of the photodetector 5-5 and the directions thereof are intersected with the hexagonal shapes of the apertures 5-6.
