    • PURPOSE:To realize an information communication service system having the high value added by distributing the answer data to the terminals which had inquiries as well as to other terminals which previously made contract with those terminals having inquiries via a terminal handler that received the answer data to the inquiry data. CONSTITUTION:A terminal handler 140 receives the answer data from host computer 110 and identifies the terminals that should receive the answer data by reference to a table containing the correspondence between the inquiry codes and the group numbers included in the answer data and the terminals 160-190 belonging to the group numbers and their groups. Then the handler 140 sends successively the answer data to those identified terminals. When the answer data produced from an application program is received, the terminals that should receive the answer data are identified based on the correspondence table. Then the answer data is successively sent to these identified terminals. Thus, it is possible to realize an information communication service system having the high value added.

    • PURPOSE:To expand a file area in an on-line state by allowing each subsystem to perform the expansion of the file area in each disk under a state where subsystems cooperate each other while a system operates. CONSTITUTION:A subsystem 11 outputs an actuating file expanding data since a free area capacity (for example, 5KB) drops to an expansion set value 10KB or less. In receiving the data, each subsystem 12 and 13 stores the data in a collecting buffer and sends each responding file expanding data 800 and 801. Then the subsystems 12 and 13 collect the expanding data in the response files sent from other subsystems including their own files and store the data in buffers. Thereafter, the subsystems 12 compare the free area capacity of each collected data and, since the free area capacity of the subsystem 12 is the largest, the information in the actuating file expanding data is registered in a file managing table. Thereafter, file expansion candidate data are sent and, in receiving the data, the subsystem 11 sets an inside-managing table expansion suppressing flag to '1' and clears a work memory.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the definition of photographed image data to be recorded is deficient when detection of abnormity is unsuccessful and a plurality of abnormalities are detected, in a video monitor system wherein a state of a whole monitor range is photographed/recorded ordinarily and an abnormality detected part is photographed/recorded in detail when the abnormity is detected. SOLUTION: The video monitor system disclosed herein is provided with first and second photographing apparatuses and an abnormity detection apparatus. The first photographing apparatus photographs a predetermined photographing range, the second photographing apparatus photographs a predetermined second photographing range, and when the abnormity detection apparatus detects abnormality from the first or second photographing range, the first photographing apparatus photographs a third photographing range covering the first and second photographing ranges, and the second photographing apparatus photographs a fourth photographing range that is the vicinity of a position at which the abnormity detection apparatus detects the abnormity.
