摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform tube expansion and shrinkage by the use of a tube for expanding cylinder easily, by inserting the tube expanding cylinder in which a traveling-wave ultrasonic motor is assembled into a plastic insulator while a traveling wave is generated, drawing the tube expanding cylinder off after the tube expansion, and fitting it onto a connection by insertion. SOLUTION: A tube-expanding cylinder 7 in which a traveling-wave ultrasonic motor 9 is assembled, is inserted into a rubber insulator 4 from the side of its rube expanding end 8. If it is inserted generating untrasonic vibration by the traveling-wave ultrasonic motor 9 on that occasion, the tube expanding cylinder 7 enters the rubber insulator 4 automatically. And the tube expanding end 8 is removed after the insertion, and a rubber insulator 4 in an expanded state having only the tube expanding cylinder 7 is obtained. Consequently, it becomes possible to expand or shrink a rubber or plastic insulator formed into a cylindrical shape beforehand by the use of the tube expanding cylinder easily.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a power cable joint in which the work for measuring the compression of a spring abutting on a rubber stress cone, i.e., the set length of compression, can be conducted easily and accurately in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A member 15 for pushing in the axial direction of a cable, a stop plate 18 opposing the pushing member 15 in the axial direction through a spring 14, and a bolt 19 and nut 20 for holding the stop plate 18 movably in the axial direction to compress the spring 14 are provided for a rubber stress cone being inserted, along with the insulated core of a cable, into a tubular molded insulator comprising an epoxy insulating tube. A plurality (four) of scale pass holes 21 are made, at the same interval (900 deg., through the supporting plate on a peripheral track and a scale 22 is passed through a scale pass hole along the side face of the spring.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an improved semi-stopper for OF cable connections which suppresses oil leakage to an extent of not hindering assembly and disassembly work, without damaging a cable core even when the cable core moves. CONSTITUTION:The title semi-stopper has construction which connects with a semi-stop pipe 8 in an oiltight way between the end part of a sealing metal coat at the tip part of an OF cable and the cable core to be exposed from there by stripping. A lower seal tape layer 14, a circular semi-stop pedestal 9, and a middle seal tape layer 15 are provided successively, and the circular semi-stop pedestal 9 is fitted in a state of being slidable on the lower seal tape 14 in the axial direction of the cable core. The middle seal tape layer 15 is provided stretching on the side of the sealing metal coat 7 from above the semi-stop pedestal 9 on to the upside of the lower seal tape layer 14, and the semi-stop pipe 8 is caulked to the upside of the lower seal tape layer 14 provided on the semi-stop pedestal 9.
