    • PURPOSE:To maintain a natural arresting function of an aerial wire while securing safety during the work at the normal time, and to considerably correctly specify the direction of the section where a power line bounded by a specific pylon fails at the abnormal time. CONSTITUTION:One end of an aerial wire 21 spanning at the side of a power source adjacent to a specific pylon 32 is insulatively supported, and earthed by an electric fuse 8 which is shut if an electric accident occurs in a power line. An aerial wire 22 spanning at the side of a load adjacent to the specific pylon 32 is provided with a current, sensor 4 to measure the current running therein. The detecting value of the current by the sensor is small when the electric accident occurs at the side closer to the power source than the pylon 32, while it becomes large when the electric accident is brought about at the side closer to the load than the pylon. Therefore, whether the position where the electric accident occurs is at tone power source side or at the load side can be specified by measuring the current flowing in the aerial wire 22.

    • PURPOSE:To judge a section wherein a fault occurs when the phase differences of neighboring two points are largely different by providing a plurality of detecting points along transmission lines, and detecting the phase difference between a voltage with respect to the ground and a current with respect to each phase of the transmission line at each detecting point. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of sensors 2 for spotting a faulty section are provided at a specified interval along transmission lines 1 for the phases of R, S and T of the transmission lines 1. The sensors 2 are suspended from the transmission lines in the vicinity of a steel tower 3. The phase difference between the voltages with respect to the ground in the transmission line 1 to which the sensor belongs and the current with respect to the voltage is detected. The information of the current phase is transmitted to a receiving device 4 on the side of a ground-potential part by radio. The device 4 evaluates the presence or absence of a fault in the transmission line with a part between the sensors 2 and 2 as a unit. The result of the evaluation is transmitted to the upper part of the steel tower 3 through an approach optical fiber 5 and further transmitted to a remote point through a composite overhead earth wire 6 of an optical fiber. The results are collected at a central monitoring station.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an invasion sensor having a simple, inexpensive and flat detecting area by arranging a projector so as to face a light receiver array obtained by linearly arranging plural light receivers, and constructing a invasion detecting area with the triangular area using a linearly arranged light receiving element array as a bottom side and a light emitting element as an apex. CONSTITUTION:Projected beams from a projector 110 are received by the all light receivers consisting of a light receiver array 120, optical paths from the projector 110 to the respective light receivers radially spread, and a triangular detecting area 10 using the light receiver array 120 as the bottom side and the projector 110 as the apex is formed. When an invading object interrupts the optical pats, >= one light receiver of the light receiver array 120 does not receive the projected beams. The invasion detecting means specifies the invading position of the object into the detecting area 10 based on the position of the light receiver which does not receive the beams. Thus the inexpensive invasion sensor having the flat invasion detecting area in a simple configuration can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the DC power of good quality easily, by shorting the output of a current transformer to obtain AC voltage from aerial wire current when it is on a predetermined voltage level. CONSTITUTION:The output of the secondary winding 2a of a current transformer 2 passed through the aerial earth wire 1a of a transmission line is rectified with a rectification circuit 3 since a thyristor 6 is unconducting at the beginning. If this rectification voltage is not higher than the operating voltage of a Zener diode ZD4, a definite DC voltage can be obtained with a voltage regulator 7. If it is not lower than the operating voltage, the potential at a point y is limited to the operating voltage by the function of the ZD4. Then, the potential at the gate (a point z) of the thyristor 6 connected to a point x will rise and it becomes conducting. When the output of the secondary winding 2a gets to negative polarity and reverse-blocking state, it becomes unconducting. With this repetition, the potential at the point y holds the voltage in which the operating voltage is set at its peak value. By inputting this voltage into the regulator 7, stable DC voltage can be outputted.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent slippage of an optical fiber cable from a steel tower for power transmission line and to increase in transmission loss of the cable, by working a plastic conduit tube from the outside midway of its laying route so as to fix the optical fiber cable to the conduit tube. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber cable 1 is housed in a plastic conduit tube 2 and the tube 2 is fixed to the base material 3 of a steel tower by means of a clamping material 4 at regular intervals. Moreover, at the midpoint of the laying route of the cable 1, at least one fixing section 5 to the plastic conduit tube 2 is provided to the cable 1. At the fixing section 5 the plastic conduit tube 2 is cut off for a certain length and a space where the cable 1 is exposed is formed. At both ends of the space tapes 6 are wound around the optical fiber cable 1 and plastic conduit tube 2 and, furthermore, a tape 7 is wound around the whole space. In this way, the optical fiber cable 1 is fixed to the plastic conduit tube 2 to one body at the fixing section 5. Therefore, the tensile force of the optical fiber cable 1 caused by its self weight can be born by the fixing section 5.
