    • PURPOSE: To enhance sensitivity in sensitizing development process by adding a siler halide emulsion having fogged nuclei in the inside to the emulsion layer of a photosensitive material having a photosensitive silver halide emulsion, or its adjacent layer.
      CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive silver halide emulsion of a color photosensitive material contains a silver halide emulsion contg. fogged nuclei in the inside preferably in an amt. of 0.05W50mol% of photosensitive silver halide. This added emulsion is not developed by the normal processing and is made uniformly developable after undergoing sensitizing process. Said silver halide emulsion contg. the fogged nuclei in the inside consists of core-shell type silver halide grains each composed of the inside core of silver halide grain fogged on its surface and the outside shell coating its surface. As a result, the obtained material can be enhanced in sensitivity by the sensitizing development process without lowering the max. density of the normal development process by adding such a shell- covered emulsion to a low sensitivity emulsion layer.
