摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which dust on a rotary brush can be effectively removed.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner has a cleaner body in which an electric fan is housed. The vacuum cleaner also has a communicating tube 24 in which an air passage W communicating with the suction side of the electric fan is defined inside. The vacuum cleaner further has an attachable/detachable floor brush on the front end side of the communicating tube 24, wherein the floor brush has a case body and has a rotary brush 33 arranged rotatably and detachably in the case body. The rotary brush 33 has a shaft-like shaft part 41 and has a plurality of bristle parts 42 projectingly installed on the outer periphery of the spindle part 41. The communicating tube 24 is provided with a catch 45 removing dust on the rotary brush 33 taken off from the case body and inserted inside the air passage W.
