摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a washing machine in which scattering of water at the time of a wash is inhibited.
SOLUTION: A net 11 is extended from the inner circumference section of a tab cover 5 mounted on the upper margin section of a tab, which holds the rotation drum 3 of the washing machine, to the inward. The net 11 prevents a washing cloth from projecting over the tab cover 5 at the time of the wash. This can prevent wash water, which circulates from the upper part of the rotation drum 3 to the inside of a rotation lamina 3 by passing through space between the rotation drum 3 and tab 2 with centrifugal force at the time of the wash, from colliding against the washing cloth and dispersing. An electrode sensor is formed in the inward end portion of the net 11 and scattering of wash water is inhibited by decelerating rotation of the rotation drum 3 when it is sensed by contact of the washing cloth that the washing cloth projects over the net 11 to the top.

In this case, the foreign substance capturing part 21 is located at the lower part of the drain outlet 9 of the washing tub 2, and the drain outlet 9 is located at the lower part of a pulsator 5 in the bottom of the washing tub 2, so that when the pulsator 5 is removed, the drain outlet 9 of the washing tub 2 is exposed to reveal the foreign substance capturing part 21 at the lower part from the drain outlet 9, and also the foreign substance that is captured by the foreign substance capturing part 21 from above. Thus, the foreign substance captured by the foreign substance capturing part 21 can be removed easily through the drain outlet 9.
