    • PURPOSE:To make the device small-sized and increase transmission efficiency by providing inner and outer acceleration gears interlocked with inner and outer left side gears of a double differential device at the inside of a large deceleration gear and using a power train rotating a middle shaft and an outer shaft via inner and outer small gears. CONSTITUTION:In a double differential device, inner and outer planetary gears 4, 5 are brought into contact with inner and outer left side gears 6, 7 and inner and outer right side gears 8, 9 via a carrier shaft 8 in a planetary carrier 2 integral with a large deceleration gear 1. A left front axle 10 is directly coupled with the inner right side gear 8, and a right front axle 11 is directly coupled with the outer right side gear 9 respectively. In this constitution, inner and outer acceleration gears 12, 13 are concentrically provided inside the large deceleration gear 1. The inner left side gear 6 is directly coupled with the inner acceleration gear 12 via a hollow shaft 16, and the outer left side gear 7 is directly coupled with the outer acceleration gear 13 respectively. Accordingly, spiral gears are used for the inner and outer acceleration gears 12, 13 to attain the expected objective.

    • PURPOSE:To remove various inconveniences which may occur in a differential limiting device when pulling a vehicle, etc. by connecting one side gear of a differential device to a differential case at the same time the connection between said side gear and the mount case of a direction changing mechanism is cut off. CONSTITUTION:A transfer which is connected to a transmission has a center differential gear 20a which distributes power and outputs the power to a front wheel side and a rear wheel side, a front differential gear 20b which outputs power inputted from the side gear 24 side of the differential gear 20a to one side of each of front and rear wheels, a direction changing mechanism 30a, and a differential limiting mechanism 30b. A connecting shaft for connecting the side gear 23 of the center differential gear 20a to the mount case 31 of the direction changing mechanism 30a is divided and the first and second divided shafts 25, 31b can be connected and disconnected to and from each other via a spline engagement by means of the axial sliding movement of a coupling sleeve 38. Also, when both the shafts 25, 31b are disconnected from each other, the divided shaft 25 is connected to a differential case 21.

    • PURPOSE:To aim at simplification in a power train and the promotion of its high efficiency, by setting up symmetrical two sets of differential gear parallelly in a double differential gear making a differential rotation between a left from axle and a right rear axle as well as between a right front axle and a left rear axle. CONSTITUTION:After power out of the engine projected frontward and set up somewhat highish on symmetrical front axles 2 and 3 is shifted by a transmission, the power is transmitted to planetary carriers 9 and 10 of symmetrical differential gears set up in parallel via a power transmission mechanism inclusive of a chain 38 and symmetrical chain gears 7 and 8. And, with rotation of these planetary carriers 9 and 10, a bevel planetary gear 12 is differentially rotated, whereby turning force is transmitted to front shafts 21 and 22. Pinions 20 and 19 are solidly installed in a front end of each of these front shafts 21 and 22, having them engaged with hypoid gears 18 and 17, and these front axles 2 and 3 are rotated.Likewise, rotation of side gears 15 and 16 of each differential gear is transmitted to rear axles 32 and 33 via propeller shafts 24 and 25.
