    • PURPOSE:To shorten the working time by measuring each time the spring pressure at the time of R bend shape forming of a metallic sheet spring, at the time of irradiating a metallic sheet with a laser light and executing bending, and using its spring pressure information. CONSTITUTION:At the time of irradiating the surface of a metallic sheet with a laser light and scanning it in the lateral direction, and also, feeding a pitch in the longitudinal direction and executing P bending, a scanning pitch is calculated by a pitch calculating part 17 from data obtained by each of a spring pressure measuring part 11, a spring constant calculating part 12, a spring displacement calculating part 13, a bend angle calculating part 14, a target spring pressure setting part 15, and a spring pressure increase target quantity setting part 16, and a variable pitch is sent out to a laser light irradiation pitch sending-out means 18 in the longitudinal direction. In such a way, the R bending time for the metallic sheet is shortened, and the forming quality and the yield can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the number of corrugations per unit length of the material, and to improve the workability and absorbability for the thermal strain, by continuously welding the upper portion of the corrugation after forming the corrugation through pressing, bending, etc. CONSTITUTION:According to the conventional method, the corrugation work 2 is applied to the material 1, which is to be provided with the corrugation, so as to make the radius of bend at the top 3 to be substantially zero. Next, the welding 4 is applied to this top 3. Hereupon, even if there exist some cracks, etc., at the top 3, they are eliminated by the welding 4; besides, this method is free from the trouble such as the irregularity in the flange height in case of welding of the attached flange like as the conventional method; hereby, the workability is improved, and the radius of bend at the top 3 becomes substantially zero, so that the number of corrugations per unit length of the material 1 can be increased, and the absorbability for the thermal strain is improved.
