摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to appropriately control the direction of fuel injection without incurring complication of the structure, an increase in suction resistance and the like, by connecting a branch passage from a bypass passage which branches from an intake-air passage upstream of a throttle valve, to a passage just downstream of an injector. CONSTITUTION:During low load operation in which the opening degree of a throttle valve 10 is small, when a secondary intake valve 4 is stopped, a strong jet stream from a branch passage 17 controls the direction of injection of fuel from an injector 15 so that fuel is injected toward a primary intake valve 3. Meanwhile during high load operation when the secondary intake valve 4 is stopped, the air jet stream decreases extremely so that fuel from the injector 15 is injected toward two intake valves 3, 4, substantially in an equal amount. Thus, with the use of changes in air streams in the bypass passage 16 and the branch passage 17 in association with loads, it is possible to automatically control the direction of fuel with the use of a convenient arrangement in which the branch passage 17 is connected to a passage just downstream of the injector 15.
