    • PURPOSE:To prevent the looseness in the flexural direction between the outer/inner shafts of a freely expansible/contractible shaft by pressing the insertion end of the outer shaft to the inner shaft and also pressing the inserted end of the inner shaft to the outer shaft. CONSTITUTION:Inserting a rod 23 into a bore 30 of an inner shaft 22, the internal thread 22f of the inner shaft 22 is lightly fitted with the external thread 23b of the rod 23. In the insertion end 21b of an outer shaft 21 is fitted the inserted end 22b of the inner shaft 22. Placing the inserted end 22b of the inner shaft 22 near the left end of the outer shaft 21, a nut 24 is deeply mated not only with the external thread 21c of the outer shaft 21 but also with the external thread 22f of the rod 23 so that, with a slit 21d symmetric with respect to the external thread, 21c the outer shaft 21 may be elastically deformed uniformly all around toward the inner shaft 22, and a tapered section 23a of the rod 23 is deeply mated into a tapered hole 22c of the inner shaft 22 and the inner shaft 22 is deformed uniformly all around toward the outer shaft 21, thus eliminating the radial looseness between both shafts 21, 22.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably lock a pair of lock arms and a pair of lock parts as means for locking a sub housing inserted into a frame in an anti-fall-off state. SOLUTION: The sub housing 20 inserted into the frame 10 is locked in an anti-fall-off state by locking action of a pair of elastically bending lock arms 13 and a pair of lock parts 21. The lock arms 13 and the lock parts 21 are equipped with locking faces 17, 23 nearly at right angles in an insertion direction of the sub housing 20 and capable of abutting with each other while the lock arms 13 and the lock parts 21 are not locked to each other at an insertion process of the sub housing 20, so that, when insertion force is granted to the sub housing 20 surpassing locking force of the locking faces 17, 23 themselves, the lock arms 13 are elastically bent to release locking of the locking faces 17, 23.
