摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-oxidizing raw material which can exhibit a high anti-oxidizing action, to provide a food or drink, and to provide a method for producing a lignan compound, by which the lignan compound can easily be produced by the fermentation technique. SOLUTION: This anti-oxidizing raw material is obtained by inoculating a fermentation raw material containing sesamin, sesaminol or a sesaminol glycoside with a microorganism belonging to the genus Aspergillus to subject the raw material to a microorganism fermentation treatment. It is preferable that the anti-oxidizing raw material contains a sesamin dicatechol-form compound or a sesaminol catechol-form compound. It is more preferable that a sesamin catechol-form compound, a sesamin dicatechol-form compound or a sesaminol catechol-form compound is contained as a lignan compound in a larger amount than the fermentation raw material. It is preferable that the fermentation raw material is sesame seeds, roasted sesame, roasted sesame oil, un-roasted sesame salad oil, sesame strained lees, or sesame deodorized scum.
