摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify application and wiping and to enable the execution of cleaning, polishing and rust prevention with one stage by using a polishing agent and a rust preventive as essential components and adding a lubricating oil, detergent, surfactant and dispersant thereto. CONSTITUTION:The lubricating oil sufficiently impregnates into the polishing agent to impart a proper wetting effect thereto and further improves the finishing effect of the polishing agent. The surfactant stabilizes the dispersibility with the polishing agent, promotes the property to replace the rust preventive with water and has the nature to assist the brightness effect of the polishing agent. The dispersant sufficiently disperses and holds the polishing agent. The dispersant has the effects of polishing, cleaning and rust preventing and in addition, the film thereof is oily when the dispersant applied on a metal surface and is wiped and, therefore, the thin rust preventive film is formed on the metal surface to protect the surface.

摘要： PURPOSE:To quickly and uniformly remove scale from a thick metal plate by holding the thick metal plate and a plate electrode face to face in a tank filled with acid solution and applying a current between them. CONSTITUTION:In a pickling tank 2 filled with acid solution 3, a thick metal plate 4 and a fixed electrode 6 are fitted vertically by turns and at equal intervals and the bottom end part is held by a support 5 and a stop material 7. The thick plate 4 is connected with a plus terminal of a power source 14 through a contact electrode 12 and an electrical wire 15 and the electrode 6 is connected with a minus terminal of the power source 14 through the contact electrode 11 and the wire 15. In this structure, when an electric current is applied from the power source 14 between the thick plate 4 and the electrode 6 to remove scale from the thick plate 4, the acidic ag. solution 3 between the thick plate 4 and the electrode 6 and the acidic ag. solution 3 on the circumference cause natural circulation to conduct uniform and non-defective electrolytic pickling without deteriorating mechanical properties of the thick plate 4.

摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently remove the oxide scale on a steel pipe in a short time by concentrically and vertically arranging cylindrical outer electrode and inner electrode in an aq. acidic soln., holding concentrically a steel pipe in the gap between both electrodes, and carrying out electrolytic pickling. CONSTITUTION:In the pickling soln. 3 in a pickling bath 2, the cylindrical outer electrode 5 and inner electrode 6 are vertically and concentrically set on a holder 9, and the steel pipe 4 is held in the gap between both electrodes 5 and 6 by an optional holding means through spacers 7 and 8. The steel pipe 4 and both electrodes 5 and 6 are connected to an electric power source 10 by an acid-resistant covered conductor 14 through clipper electrodes 11, 12, and 13. Under such a constitution, the steel pipe 4 and both electrodes 5 and 6 are energized to remove the oxide scale deposited on the inner and outer sides of the steel pipe 4. The pickling soln. 3 is sent, as required, to a refrigerator 150 from a suction pipe 151 and cooled, the cooled soln. is returned to the pickling bath 2 through a discharge pipe 152, and an increase in the temp. of the pickling soln. 3 is prevented. By this method, the scale can be rapidly and efficiently removed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable beautiful correction by using a correcting liquid consisting of ethyl lactate alone or consisting essentially thereof without requiring the combination use of erasing rubber and to decrease toxicity and danger for fire. CONSTITUTION:Several kinds of resins, for example, styrenic resin, acrylic resin, polyester resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, and fluroplastic are used mixedly in general for a toner. Ethyl lactate does not have the solubility performance to the extent of dissolving many kinds of resins and therefore it dissolves or swells just a part of the resins in the toner in the stage of correction. The corrected part causes consequently flake-like exfoliation without forming a fine particle or liquid and the flake-like piece can be easily wiped away by toilet- paper or the like. The surface wiped of said pieces has a beautiful surface and does not require the use of erasing rubber. The ethyl lactate has both high b.p. and flash point and has no worry for toxicity to human body.
