    • PURPOSE:To enable a load detector to be prevented from the deterioration of performance or from a breakage even when an excessive load is applied to the detector by bringing a pin-shaped member into contact with part of an inner wall when the load exceeds a rated value. CONSTITUTION:When an excessive force F shown by an arrow is applied to a rigid body portion 3, flexible beams 4 and 4' are deformed and the rigid body portion 3 is displaced relative to another rigid portion 2. Therefore, the portion of an opening 21 belonging to the rigid body portion 3 is also displaced and the connecting portion j1 between a slit 16 and the opening 21 and a pin 22 are brought into contact with each other. When a displacement is further continued, the connecting portion j1 presses down the pin 22 to bring the pin 22 and another connecting portion j2 into contact with each other at last. Although the force F, because large, tends to further deform the flexible beams 4 and 4', since the connecting portions j1 and j2, that is, the rigid body portions 2 and 3, respectively, are in a condition to be connected to each other via the pin 22, thereafter, the force F is directly transmitted from the rigid body portions 2 to 3 without through the flexible mean 4 and 4'. Thus, even when a large load above a rated load is applied, no excessive stress is produced in the flexible beams and a load detector can be prevented from the deterioration of performance and from a breakage.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the performance of a load detector being deteriorated damage of the detector by constituting one of through holes of parallel deflective beams construction or radial deflective beams construction of a projecting part and a recessed part, and forming the variable slit parts with the prescribed width between these. CONSTITUTION:The force F within the rated load is supposed to be applied to a rigid body part 3 with the parallel deflective beams construction in a vertical direction in figure. At this time, the parallel deflective beams construction is deformed and the displacement corresponding to the force F takes place between the rigid body part 3 and a rigid body part 2. As a result, the displacement equal to the above- mentioned displacement also takes place between the projecting part 21 and the recessed part 22, and the slit width of the variable slit part 24a is widened by the displacement and on the contrary, the slit width of the variable slit part 24b is narrowed by the displacement. Then, the large load F' far exceeding the rated load is applied in the same direction as the above-mentioned F and when the displacements in the variable slit parts 24a and 24b attain a selected value, the projecting part 21 contacts with the recessed part 21 in the variable slit part 24b and the slit width is made zero and the more displacement between the rigid body part 3 and the rigid body part 2 is prevented.
