    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bed drying device for stable drying by suppressing heating failure of raw material which is caused by increase in noncondensing gas.SOLUTION: A fluid bed drying device includes a drying container 101 which contains a raw coal feeding opening 102 and a dried coal discharging opening 103, a fluidizing steam supply part 104 which forms a fluid bed S along with raw coal by supplying fluidizing steam to the lower part of the drying container 101, heat transfer pipes 106, 107, and 108 heating the raw coal of the fluid bed S, a noncondensing gas mixing detecting device (thermometer 141, dry degree detection devices 142a, 142b, and 142c) for detecting mixing of noncondensing gas in the fluidizing steam, and a fluidizing steam state changing device (control device 145) for increasing supply amount of the fluidizing steam when mixing of the noncondensing gas in the fluidizing steam is detected.
