    • PURPOSE:To prevent a bridging phenomenon from occurring at a hopper and to supply a material smoothly by a method wherein a portion of a resin softened in a cylinder barrel is molded into a spiral shape and the spiral shaped material is fed back into a hopper. CONSTITUTION:In the extruder, a nozzle 6 for molding a portion of the molten resin into a spiral shaped is provided at the cylinder barrel 1 part between a breaker plate 5 and the tip part 4a of a screw vane, and a connecting pipe 9 made of a metallic net for connecting the nozzle 6 and the hopper 2 is provided. The spirally shaped molding material 12a extruded from the nozzle 6 is passed through the connecting pipe 9, a fitting hole 2a of the hopper 2 and a lower part 2b of the hopper 2, then it is drawn into the cylinder barrel 1 while being wounded around a screw 4. Accordingly, the molding material 12 contained in the hopper 2 is forcibly fed into the barrel 1, so that the arching phenomenon which will hinder the supply of a contact amount of the material 12 can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent resin frm stagnating and to manufacture an extruded product provided with a homogeneous quality special form of section by a method wherein the flow of resin is divided into two at a distributing plate part and the respective flows of resin are flowed in again from the end part of a material reservoir in a material reservoir plate and joined there. CONSTITUTION:The extrusion die comprises four plates, that is, a die holder plate 9 having a material supply hole 8 and a runner groove 13 for dividing the flow of resin into two flows, a material distributing plate 7 having two flowing holes 5 and a manifold 12 for rejoining branched flows of resin, a material reservoir plate 4 having a material reservoir 3 nearly similar in the shape to an end material resevoir 10, and a die lip plate 2 having the die land 1 fitting to the sectional shape of a final product. The flow of resin divided by the flowing holes 5 into two flows is flowed again from both end parts of the manifolds 12, 11. Therefore the flow rate does not decrease or stagnate at the end parts and a homogeneous product can be obtained.
