    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and effective method for bonding a polymer gel.SOLUTION: The method for obtaining the polymer gel, whose stuck surfaces bond together firmly, comprises cutting an organic polymer/clay composite polymer gel comprised of a polymer obtained from a water soluble organic monomer and a water-swellable clay mineral and having a three dimensional network, then sticking together the cut surfaces or sticking a cut surface with non-cut surface, and, if necessary, performing heating, pressurization, ultrasonic irradiation, coating of a water soluble polymer, etc. Using the method, the organic polymer/clay composite polymer gel can be processed to be molded in an arbitrary shape, and an organic gel, having complicated shapes and excellent in mechanical physical properties, swelling property, and functionality, is prepared easily.
