摘要： PURPOSE:To achieve fine switching control, by retrieving the presence and the absence of broadcast electromagnetic waves adjacent to a desired reception frequency and its intensity through a controller and switching the reception frequency band in accordance with the result. CONSTITUTION:When a reception frequency of a desired broadcast is designated with an operating key 14, an operation processing section 121 of a controller 12 calculates a frequency dividing ratio No of a programmable divider 232 corresponding to the frequency, at the step 1. This value is stored in a storage device 1233. Next, the processing section 121 takes a storage device 1234 as a storage location of N, and takes N as No at the step 2, adds 1 (or subtracts 1) to (or from) the value of the storage device 1234 at the step 3, the value after the addition is taken as a new N and inputted to the storage device 1234. At the step 4, discrimination is made if the value of the storage device 1234 exceeds the upper limit frequency of the reception band stored in a storage device 1231. Thus, retrieval is made to discriminate if the adjacent waves are stronger than the desired waves.

CONSTITUTION:A desired receiving frequency is indicated to a channel selecting device, and disturbing radio waves which give the radio interference to the desired receiving frequency are searched through a level detector 40, and a series of operations where control signal for gain control are given in accordance with the search result is performed by a control device 17. The detection level of the detector 40 is changed to plural steps in accordance with the differential frequency between the desired receiving frequency and the frequency of disturbing radio waves causing the radio interference. Thus, conventional troubles, where the gain of an antenna input is controlled through disturbing radio waves are separated from the desired receiving frequency and do not reach the level of the radio interference, are eliminated to eliminate the radio interference effectively.

Thereby, the disk may be used like a video tape in such a manner that only the over-written part can be erased.
