    • PURPOSE:To prevent a track jump although it is impossible to detect a track error signal owing to the flaws, dust, etc. on a disk, by switching a pickup driving device after reading out the memory contents obtained before by one turn through a flaw detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The flawed area of a disk is reproduced at an instant when the contents of an address 100 are written. If the output of a flaw detector is set at a high level, a memory write switch 14 is opened and a memory read switch 15 closed. Thus the reading starts at and after an address 101. The information on a track error signal obtained before by one turn is stored in and after the address 101, and therefore it is possible to apply the track servo with the flawless information obtained before by one turn and via a D/A converter 21 and a changeover switch 12. In such a way, it is possible to drive a pickup driving device after reading out an error signal at the disk position same as that set before by one turn even in case the disk has flaws and a track error signal drops out. As a result, a track jump can be avoided.

The width of the output pulse of the voltage comparator 15 is increased as the slope of the sawtooth wave is increased, and the conduction angle of the thyristor is increased gradually from zero just after the power supply application to be stable to a constant value. Thus, the DC voltage at the output is increased gradually from zero, allowing to prevent the rush current to a capacitor 7 for protecting the circuit.

Therefore the PCM signal component is equal among input signals of a differential amplifier 6, and the output of the amplifier 6 contains no PCM signal component. As a result, no PCM signal component is contained in the input signal of a tracking servo actuator 8. Thus no noise is generated from the actuator 8.
