    • PURPOSE:To stabilize a combustion state and prevent clinker from being generated by a method wherein a small diameter part forming a drying zone is provided with a feeding hopper for feeding materials to be ignited and a primary air supplying port and a stepped part between a large diameter part and the small diameter part forming a combustion zone is provided with a secondary air supplying port and an injection water nozzle in such a manner that they are directed downwardly. CONSTITUTION:A furnace main body 1 supported by a rotary supporting roller 11 is comprised of a small diameter part 2 forming a drying zone A and a large diameter part 3 forming a combustion zone B. An end plate 5 at the small diameter part 2 is provided with a hopper 12 for use in feeding the combustion material C and a primary air supplying port 13. An annular wall 4 serving as a stepped part between the small diameter part 2 and the large diameter part 3 is provided with a secondary air supplying port 14 and an atomization water nozzle 15 in such a manner that they are directed downwardly. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to attain a positive combustion and to prevent clinker caused by molten ashes from being generated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the removal rate of the iron-components in molten slag by arranging a magnetic force generating member above the transporting device in a device for removing the iron-components in molten slag by using magnetic force and disposing plural magnetic members in juxtaposition on endless rotating bodies rotating around this magnetic force generating member. SOLUTION: The respective magnetic sepn. chains 11 have magnetic force at the time the rear surface of a belt 10 comes into sliding contact with the base of the magnet 5 when the belt 10 is rotated around the magnet 5 by a driving motor 8. The respective magnetic sepn. chains 11 ride on the transporting surface 13 of the belt conveyor 4 when the chains arrive at this surface and move so as to rub the transporting surface 13 by attaining the deflected state from the straight shape. The chains pass evenly in the molten slag 2 under movement so as to stir the molten slag, thereby attracting the iron-components. Next, the magnetic sepn. chains 11 pass over the transporting surface 13 of the belt conveyor 4 and swing so as to restore the straight shape by their own weights until the chains are detached from the magnet 5, by which the magnetic force is released. The attracted iron-components 3 are then dropped alongside the conveyor 4.
