摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join at low temperature, and control readily the extrusion of joint layers in an ink passage by employing any one of Ag or Au, Pt, Pd in a sheet plate forming an ink passage, and taking the sheet plate itself as joint layers. SOLUTION: An orifice plate and a restrictor plate are manufactured with ink passage forming patterns formed by press punching an Ag plate 5 being rolled preliminarily into a predetermined thickness. Also, a diaphragm plate and filter plate are made into ink passage forming plates by forming in advance ink passage forming patterns on the readily separable substrate and forming Ag thereon by a plating method to subsequently be separated from the substrate. Next, the joint surfaces 9, 9 are faced to be positioned, and each plate is tentatively fastened by a spot welding method in order of the orifice plate, restrictor plate, diaphragm plate, and filter plate. Then, these plats are set in a furnace to be cooled before being subjected to heat-compression in the atmosphere.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance by a method wherein a tip portion of a printing hammer section and a circumference section thereof are plated with a thin film including Cr and B by an electroplating method. SOLUTION: A circumference section of a printing pin 1 of a printing hammer 4 is plated with a Cr-B thin film 2 by an electroplating method. A component of B of the thin film 2 is specifically determined to 1-10wt.%. A thickness of the thin film 2 is specifically determined within a range of 0.5-40μm in average. When a plating condition is set so as to reduce a growing speed of the film 2, it is possible to lower a stress of the film 2. However, it is impossible to achieve a low cost in a plating condition wherein a throughput is lowered by a method of forming the Cr-B film 2 using another way. Therefore, the thickness in the range of 0.5-40μm is optimum. The film 2 takes on a fine crystal or an amorphous material by an X-ray analysis method.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the irregularity of applied voltage between the nozzles of an assembled printing head by forming the wall member between an ink chamber and a plezoelectric element from silicone rubber having specific thickness. SOLUTION: When an ink jet printing head 1 is constituted of orifices 2 injecting ink liquid droplets, an ink chamber 4 and the piezoelectric elements 6 bonded to a part of the wall of the ink chamber 4, the wall member between the ink chamber 4 and the piezoelectric elements 6 is formed from silicone rubber 7. The thickness of the wall member is set to 0.05-0.3mm. When the thickness of the silicone rubber 7 exceeds 0.3mm, the discharge of air bubbles floating in the silicone rubber 7 becomes difficult and, therefore, percent defective at a time of the production of a printing head becomes high. Further, it is difficult to reduce the thickness of the silicone rubber 7 to 0.05mm or less from an aspect of the attaching accuracy of the piezoelectric elements 6 and a housing 8. By this constitution, it becomes possible to restrict a setting range of applied voltage and the irregularity of applied voltage between nozzles can be suppressed.

As integral molding, the precise molding of a resin, the injection molding of a resin or heat press molding of a sheet like resin is appropriately employed. The vibration membrane 10 and the other ends of the piezoelectric elements 8 are bonded and fixed at the positions opposed to the nozzles 9a of the integrally molded ink chamber 9. By this method, an ink jet head is completed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bonding free from thermal damage and improve corrosion resistance by forming bonded members of an ink jet printer head by an alloy of a specified composition which contains Sn-Ni as a base and an additional metal optionally selected from Cu, Pd, Au and Ag. SOLUTION: Applied on substrates 5 of respective bonded portions being bonded and constituting an ink jet printer head are a Cu element plating 6, Ni plating 7 and Sn plating 8 as a Sn plating layer, in this order. Sn, which is a plating material, and Ni and Cu, which are plated on the substrates, are fully diffused by heat treatment. In this case, the composition of a resulting alloy contains Sn of a percentage content of 35 to 95wt.%, Ni of a percentage content of 5 to 60wt.%, and Cu and the remainder of percentage contents, of which sum is 5wt.% or less. Accordingly, the bonded portion applied with plating of Sn/Ni/Cu and the like are all formed with a Sn-Ni alloy of excellent corrosion resistance.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a bonding part superior in corrosion resistance without giving a large thermal damage to an object to be bonded by a method wherein three-ply metallized layers of Au, Sn, and Au are disposed on the surfaces of two alloy members forming a head, both the alloy members are made to adhere to each other with the metallized layers in between, and the metallized layers are melted. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of alloy members 101, 111 form an ink jet printing head. When the first surface of the first alloy member 101 is bonded to the second surface of the second alloy member 111, three-ply metallized layers of Au as first metallized plies 103, 107, Sn as second metallized plies 104, 108, and Au as third metallized plies 105, 109 are provided in this order from the matrixes on at least one of the first and second surfaces. The first surface is disposed opposedly to the second surface. After the relative position of the first surface and the second surface is adjusted, the both are made to adhere to each other. The three-ply metallized layers are heated to a temperature of 553 deg.K or higher to be melted without melting both the members 101, 111 to bond both the alloy members.
